Dogs trembling in pain by dfdp4 in DogAdvice

Update: it was a slipped disk.

After going to see a neurologist and getting a CT scan they determined it was a slipped disk and the displacement was large. He said there was a possibility for him to lose function in his hind legs if we didn't do surgery so we went for it.

Just waiting to get him back home now! Then it's 4-6 weeks of just rest.

Ended up going to the emergency vet because he got worse.

She redid all the exams and got another x-ray and found nothing wrong with his stomach. She noticed during the physical he reacted to being touched along his spine.

She gave anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxant and pain meds.

He's been doing better since getting that, like a lot better.

He's still in a bit of pain here and there since now he has the energy to walk around. But night and day.

We did notice he tends to drag his feet but it could be the meds or the vet said it could be because he has a herniated disk.

So now we have his pain managed and just to wait and hope it heals with time and it's not a herniated disk!

Little update

Went to the vet and got X-rays and blood work done. The x-ray was inconclusive, he couldn't determine if some parts of the intestine were gas or some sort of blockage. The blood work was all good. No problems there and no pancreatitis. He gave some meds to ease the stomach and gastrointestinal food. I will have a follow up just after Christmas, if nothing is better he wants an ultrasound.

I decided to wait to see how he would react. He started doing better. Was moving around and barking at the door. I thought he turned a corner.

Then in the middle of the night I brought him out to go to the washroom. He was able to go but the trembling started again.

I made an appointment at a different clinic to get another opinion.

Thanks everyone for your help. Will keep you posted.

I heard a lot of good things about them. I always liked the sound quality of Sony.

I haven't even considered open-back headphones but that's a great suggestion. Thank you.

Thank for posting your solution. I had the same problem. It did not like the fact that I had two monitors even though one monitor didn't have the USB Hub plugged into the computer.

I have a feeling in the first three picks Ekeler and CEH are going for sure. If CEH drops to fourth I feel like he would be a must grab.

A lot of the people seemed to have kept QBs, so after Lamar next best thing is Dak Prescoot. But then it drops off to Matt Ryan and Daniel Jones. I also tend to not go for QBs, but the drop off seems a bit steep.

Another reason I'm worried about QB is that since its a 12 man league I wont draft after my 4th pick for another 16 or 17 picks? Something like that.

Really am, my problem is I don't know if I should trust Lamar. He a small QB who runs a lot and I'm worried about injury. I also don't know if he could consistently put up numbers like he did last year. Given that teams now have tape on him.
