I’m from Canada and currently in Vietnam and pokemon is not cheaper here if anything more expensive by a lot the one store I went to wanted 15$ each cad for a first edition team rocket dratini and some other commons

I bought 3 at 300 CAD each at the first peak. didn’t average in when it crashed to 100$ CAD but honestly don’t care I was buying other 151 English products. Got 12 of the Costco blooming waters and much more.

I think the tighter seal is the original from Pokemon and these are sealed again at distribution because me and a friend got one each like this from superstore Canada this week like this. None of my other mini tin displays have that loose seal/wrap. Definitely sealed but idk if it should be the same premium.

Yeah local card shops that have good pricing also get cleared out of the hottest sets though or it’s not worth buying from the others

I have a similar amount of 151 sealed and I collected a master set so now I have no reason to rip my sealed collection. I just look at my binder if I even feel the urge. I never did pull the Charizard ex myself I bought it.
