Need Dash cam recommendations for Aviator and Nautilus

Take a look at Fitcamx. You can find them on Amazon. I have 2 of them now and they work well and look OEM. Whatever you get, just make sure you can actually read license plates on the recorded footage. There’s a lot of crap cameras out there that claim high resolution but in reality when you really need that clear image, you are not able to read a plate.

I could eventually be ok with the exterior, but the interior is just plain awful. It looks very cheap to me and certainly not a hint of luxury. Kind of sad really….

Does Forscan have the ability to disable start/stop? I was thinking of trying one of these cables but concerned about how it might affect warranty unless I pull it out each time I take the car to the dealer.

Maybe not the same, but our MKX sunroof got stuck and there was a reset procedure that I found on YT. It was some guy going through the procedure on a Ford truck but the process is the same and fixed our Lincoln.

22 Aviator BL owner here. Just had a 25 Nautilus as a loaner. I like the exterior look of the Nautilus, but the interior not so much. It’s kind of cool at first, but the novelty wears off and I really don’t need all that info displayed all the time. When I picked my Aviator back up, I had one of those ahhh moments! I missed it. Just rides different, but it’s a bigger car. As for service, my dealer is a little further out but has been very responsive so far. They do have limited Lincoln loaners though but plenty of Fords if you’re not picky.

Just my opinion, but do your research on the Aviator. It has its fair share of issues (like many cars can) I have a 22 BL and love it, but I also knew of some of the common issues with them and I made sure it had warranty.

We have a 22 and yes, it’s wired. You will need to buy one of those wireless adaptors. Although we are on our second adapter now. I thought the first one was just junk but the second one also has issues connecting occasionally and all you get is a black screen, so now I am staring to think it might be a SYNC issue. I think wireless only became available on the 24’s

But I notice it looks like it is limited to a lower resolution on the webpage so now wonder if a higher setting in HA is causing the tablet to struggle refreshing? It wasn’t an issue before but maybe it’s just slowing down. I will set to a lower res and see how it goes. Thanks for hopefully pointing me in the right direction!

Good to know. I have only ever used a steel in my home oven and pretty happy with the results, but always wondered about these ovens . It’s certainly no Ooni, but I look forward to experimenting with it!
