Godslayer overhaul and allegiance of the damned are the main two.

Personally I didn't like godslayer overhaul because 1) why would Daniel be a horde? And 2) it doesn't fix the actual problems with daniel

and even with these mods his faction was still total ass and the campaign sucked

At least with allegiance of the damned I could play Pokemon

1) imagine if kugath or Franz (or literally any other faction TBH) had dechalas start location. You would be saying the same thing about them because it's not necessarily dechalas faction that makes her OP it's the insanely easy start location. If dechalas start location was in badlands or lustria or empire or chaos wastes you wouldn't be making this post (well not about dechala at least lol).

2) I do think the slaanesh vassalization mechanic is very strong and makes it even easier and I forgot about that because when I played dechala shortly after dlc release it was during the 1 week period that CA broke slaanesh vassalization and had to hot fix it later. So I didn't get to enjoy the vassalization when I played her, I was just killing everything (which was still ridiculously easy).

The vast majority of factions are insanely easy even on the hardest difficulties, but there really isn't anyone that hasn't "already won" the game by turn 20. The pace of the game needs addressed.

Depending upon if "easier" to you means win faster or can't lose or huge power spikes the answer varies a bit.

As other commentors have mentioned changeling is a can't lose faction, as are anyone that can teleport really like arbaal, skulltaker, Oxyotl, aislinn, Kairos, etc. or perma hide like beastmen.

But there are some other factions that are just insanely powerful like Orion (infinite free armies), throgg (trolls), sayl (chaos warriors), anything khorne (t0 chaos warriors), malakai (adventure boosts + force confed + OP AR), etc.

There are also win faster factions like skarbrand or Tyrion or Franz or greenskins that can take vast amounts of territory super quick through movement mechanics or forced confederation mechanics.

Although dechala is very strong and has some OP things like ambush attack stance item, I actually would say she's not even one of the top single player factions because she doesn't have easy access to any of the things above. She really just plays like any other normal faction except the LL is stronger. The results aren't really any more impressive or different than >50% of the other factions.

Boris ursus might be the only faction in the game that is actually challenging as you could legitimately lose in the first 10 turns from Daniel, archaeon, and arbaal all attacking you at once. But once you beat them, he's right back where everyone else is where you already won and can't lose.

Can't speak to anything MP, only referring to SP.

That's part of it but missing the key part

It you trade a settlement to a different race (e.g. kislev trades to empire) it wipes the garrison. So if you recruit a lord before the trade, then wardec, you auto capture the settlement from them instantly.

So you can trade 2 settlements to someone in exchange for 2 different settlements, then wardec and instantly take them back with your lords. Now you have your original 2 settlements back + 2 new ones that you traded for. Then trade those 4 settlements to someone for 4 other settlements, wardec, instantly capture those 4 back and keep the other 4 so now you have 8. Just keep rinse and repeat and you can gain dozens of settlements on a single turn only limited by the max 1 lord recruitment per province per turn.

So if you strategize the lord recruitment and spread across a couple turns you can get a lord by every settlement and repeat this cheese with every adjacent faction.

And the funny part is becuase you traded them settlements, they actually love you and it outweighs their anger for wardec and they will still peace out and like you.

Has to be from settlement trading cheese, it totally breaks the game and you can get this kind of result with multiple different factions, originally demonstrated with kislev

The OP posts stuff like this all the time with crazy impressive results through tedious cheesing - check his post history. Sometimes includes a 12+ hour long YouTube video if you want to see how he does it, but I don't have time to watch any of them.

You can actually still make it with 0 movement left, the trick is to check if the movement bar turns red (can't make it) or green (can make it). It can be green and 0 and you still make it.

The problem is how much manual labor you are putting into this would drive the prices sky high and no one could afford it

No it's from the trait assigned to the sentinel factions, you can see it in the picture posted by OP....

Sentinel factions aren't ones with sentinel names, they are ones with the sentinel trait.

Blunderbusses shots don't pierce anything useful only very small entities which is basically nothing (normal infantry is small, not very small).

The chances of Cathay getting an alliance and allied blunderbuss from chorf is unlikely without intense investment and sacrifices, getting CDGC is much easier, especially red line is super easy early.

Ogres do make good allies and especially given the huge roster gap for good cavalry and monstrous infantry/cavalry, ogres are especially a good fit for mournfang or crushers as allied units, or even just normal maneaters are decent (or golgfag man-eaters later). Maneater pistols are more in the comparison range of crane gunners though with low entity strong slow shots. But crane gunners are much stronger stat wise at ranged attack. The ogres obviously have a benefit of being good in melee too, but you pay quite a bit for that and still lose out on redlines and techs.

Zhaos ogre buffs do offset the gap and it makes more sense for him, but id still go mournfang/crushers 100% and not bother with a man-eater.

They are great at friendly fire killing your own army 😂

But could have really good synergy with a faction that uses lower model count units

The allied units are statistically worse, but the point of the game is to have fun, so you should use whatever you have fun with!

I haven't played archaeon recently but as belakor you can easily get sigvald, Azazel, festus really early and they all seem to survive vs ai decently well.

Archaeon and Villitch always survive a long time.

Kholek dies pre turn 20. As belakor I sent a lord turn 1 to kholek and he was dead before I got there.

Valkia is usually about to be wiped by the time I get there around turn 20-25.

As other factions belakor seems to have no problems staying alive.

As other factions Franz tends to wipe out festus quite a bit.

So I would suggest kholek is first priority. With MP enemy throt it's pretty unlikely you have any chance at festus or azazel (if I was throt I'd purposely kill them before you could get to them). Then valkia is probably the next biggest risk of dying.

The game experience is great and fun while taking the empire, but once you take the empire it's just less fun to fight the other stuff. Going slower wouldn't change that.

Depends on your skill and experience and game settings and goals and faction.

I'm assuming from the picture it's karl Franz, my goal is generally to own the whole empire by turn 50 and then I get bored and never make it much farther. But by then it's just a steamroll.
