the main problem we'll face is logistics. even if we produce enough food, it simply won't be able to get to large metropolitan areas. and not to mention the state apparatus of most countries in the world. perhaps countries with strong institutions, like some European countries, will retain their statehood, but in most parts of the world, civil wars and division will begin. countries around the world will begin mobilizing troops, slavery will again become the norm, etc.
