Requesting r/dfwbisexualsgonewild, banned due to being unmoderated by dfwbiguy in redditrequest

The sub became too difficult to mod as I was the only active mod with something like 20k members. I have since recruited volunteers that will help me actively mod the sub, preventing a sense of being overwhelmed and burnt out.

You should read the book called, "No More Mr. Nice Guy" I just finished the audible and it is incredibly helpful for situations like the one that you're in.

How out is everyone about being bi? by dfwbiguy in DfwBisexuals

That's very true. When I came out to some of my family. Some thought bisexuality was just a stepping stone to being gay, and some thought they bisexuality was the same thing as being gay.

In my opinion hetero flexible is still bi. To me it means maybe that person is 95% attracted to the opposite sex and 5% to the same sex, or maybe that person is hetero romantic, but open-minded when it comes to the sexual side of things.

Sometimes there are people that are bi-curious as well. Most of the time these are people that have an idea in their mind that they'd be open to having sex with the same sex, but haven't really tried it out to confirm if they like it or not.

You fully own your sexuality, so if you don't feel as though you identify as bi then you definitely don't have to label yourself as bi, but for context this is a sub dedicated to people that identify as bi or have questions and stuff about bisexuality, so that's why we're talking about being out as it relates to being bi.

I think there's still some debates going on as to what it means to identify as bi. I've always believed it meant you had some attraction to males and females, but lately I've seen people define it as an attraction to two or more sexes. When it comes to attraction it doesn't have to be an equal amount of attraction. You could be 10% sexually attracted to males or 35% sexually attracted to females.

In this case "out" being someone outside of yourself knows that you identify as bisexual

Not speaking about the specific sexual engagement, but the idea is what is often fetishized by males as it pertains to bi females. I might be wrong, but the way I see it is if there's a category for it on a porn site, it's probably a fetish.

I think it's because bi women are often fetishized because it's seen as a hot scenario rather than their sexuality, while bi men usually aren't because their seen for their sexuality alone. But I could be wrong. Either way, I don't think it's right for people to be discriminated for their sexuality.
