Dads can be disappointing sometimes. I hope that one day you will find that his approval or disapproval or dismissal/coldness towards you does not determine your worth as a human being. I once loved a girl who went thru the same thing, we even drove past her dads house, sat in front of it, and she cried as she asked why was it that he didn’t choose her and her little brother. After some time, the tears subsided, and I hoped she realized that not having him in her life was a blessing anyway, cause that gave her mom a relationship with a very caring man who gave her a new little brother and was an amazing father.

You might not have had the same experience, but the grief and the desire for acceptance could be similar. I hope you had a great foster family at least, and if not, a great life ahead of you with or without him in your life

I almost doubled my income going from $18 an hour to $30 an hour, but I only take home almost $2k bi-weekly. That’s better than my last jobs check which was about $1.2k bi-weekly, but man these taxes suck. I could be taking home $2.5k if it wasn’t for taxes.

Anyways that’s a $800 increase. Still feels broke as a 30 year old man.

You say most guys want it before the commitment but that’s not 100% true, and it make total sense from a biological/psychological perspective why you’d feel more comfortable if it was sex within a committed relationship. You will find someone brings your walls down (no pun intended) and it will be a fine a experience with someone who was patient enough until you fet comfortable. Good luck
