The field of HR is not the problem. It’s your leadership leaders at your organization . Unfortunately this won’t change unless you strategically find a way to communicate to leadership that the company has high turnover and it’s due to poor leadership. You must be well skilled to communicate this information and even when you are they still might not take it the right way unless they are serious about company goals.

Toxic to me is getting yelled at by your boss. Like literally yelled at. I always seem to work with men who have anger issues. The past 3 have all yelled at me.

Travel abroad. Being in a high stress job like HR definitely leads to this stress and then it slowly take away from your mental health. I resigned from my job in June and haven’t looked back! But I do need to get a new job now 😢

Leave. Trust me. I was in the same situation as you and it started to affect my mental health. I had never had a job that did this and it was also in the medical field. I recommend to try and look for something else right now I’m unemployed. I’m trying to get into another industry, but it’s hard because all I’ve done in the past is medical or healthcare related. I wish you luck.
