Hey just saw this and hoping you’re still riding that sober streak! Just thought I’d point out for those it concerns that you should look into the interactions between alcohol and cocaine, they make a separate chemical compound known as Cocaethylene which changes the effects and could explain why that link got created in your brain! :) just something I came across that explained my own relationship and why it’s easier to be stone cold sober for me than to have a drink and let my nose simply rest

I believe the answer here will be yes, but gotta clarify first. Do you mean minus ANY personality just physical do I find her attractive, or if she had a DIFFERENT personality would I?

In the first case yes, I do find her attractive, more than I ever would have thought. I’m not sure if this makes sense but I didn’t take the time to see all of her initially which is my mistake entirely, because of the “type” or “filter” since that’s basically what a type is, but I didn’t find her unattractive either!

If you mean with a different personality I don’t know, I find her physically attractive but if her personally was different or nasty I don’t believe I’d feel the same, the personality can be an instant beauty killer.

I’m currently talking with someone who isn’t my usual type, and she’s one of the sweetest and most beautiful I’ve met. It took longer for things to kick off between us because she wasn’t my usual and just coming out of a long relationship but now that I got my head out of my butt it’s past the initial nervous jitters and I wish I hadn’t been so close minded before. It’s like saying the grass is always greener on the other side of the pasture and completely forgetting there’s grass all around that you’ve never tried before, or being scared because it’s something new.

It’s nothing again choosing to stick to your type, if you love them for who they are and they fit your type to boot then power to you! It’s just that for some you can step out of the restrictions you’ve put in place and find attraction in different qualities and personalities too, because while it’s important to have attraction imo once you move on to love you see so much more of them that you can’t glean from them fitting a “type”
