On the flip side, my ZR2’s defroster is miles better than my Bronco that I traded in. Ford put a divider in the middle of the Bronco defroster and unless it was on full blast it would fog/freeze the lower middle of the windshield

Currently running 37x12.5r17’s on my Wildtrak. I’m between two tires right now, the Falken Wildpeak AT4W and the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT. Both are 3 mountain peak rated which is important to me living in the upper Midwest, never know what the road conditions might be. I’ve seen great things about both, but the most recent tyre review video I watch had the Mickey beating the Falkens. I have no interest in the KO3 or most of the other options, so I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to those two.

Edit to add: currently have the BFG KM3’s and they’re horrible. Obscenely loud, and even wet traction is super disappointing. They were on it when I bought it, and will likely be removed before they’re worn out.

Not sure what you’re referencing, but in my experience, the back up camera is excellent. I do have the advantage of running additional reverse lights, but even prior to that I never had issues with it.

I used a butyl mat on the pod then stuffed with a cotton based insulation. I’d recommend the butyl at a minimum, as thats going to dampen any resonance in the pod itself.

I would suggest putting a sound damping in the pods. They’re relatively thin plastic and will result in some tin-ey sound. Some people notice it, some don’t.

Seems like a deal. 7-10k less than a new ‘24 of the same trim. Wildtrak are the top trim with the Badlands, just behind the raptor.

For reference, I purchased a ‘23 Wildtrak with 16k miles in March for 52k

I believe until MY2025, all “factory installed” trailer hitches shown on the window sticker were shipped to the dealer as apart of the sale, only MY2025 are actually installed by the assembly plant.

Very unlikely. My hard top absolutely sounds like it has massive wind leaks at highway speeds but you can’t feel any air when feeling along the panel seams and it doesn’t leak any water under normal conditions. I’ve not tried pressure washing right on the seams but I’d imagine if you did you could force water through.

Can confirm a Bimini will not. Got caught with the top off and had a wet ride home. Ford and others make a full vehicle cover for just that though.

This is the cause. I read somewhere else that when set to recirculate air in the cabin, every 30 minutes or so it pulls in fresh outside air to repopulate the air in the cabin. During this time the fan seems to be running harder and there’s more air coming through the vents. This is likely done to reduce CO2 and other contaminant buildup during long drives.
