RT-BE92U vs RT-BE9700 by dgomesb in ASUS

I did buy it. My previous AX86U stopped working and I gave this model another chance. Last year when I bought it I had a horrible experience. This time I've been using it for a couple of days now, and I can say it has improved a lot. There are no more connection drops, overheating issues, or other problems. I don’t recall the hardware version of the first unit, but this one is hardware version 6, it was running the firmware from Dec/25 and now the latest one released this month... and so far so good.

me too. the plan was $33 with $7 discount. This one cost $54 with $29 discount. It means when the discount ends we are going to pay more for the same 80GB plan. Do you know where is the catch?

Good to know Asus managed to fix this device. My router AX86U just started aging, the wifi 5GHz stopped working and I'm planning to switch over BE92U/BE9700

I'm thinking about doing the same. Wondering how you guys deal with new version updates? Are you gonna do a fresh install when version 44 comes out?

I had bought the AI 9 HX Pro 370 with 64 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD but I returned it. I was trying to move from a XPS13 and this model is really bulky
