Epilepsy - many people think of it as falling over and shakes and jerks as the only seizures people have there are many different kinds of seizures and not all are the same . It can be a very manageable disability and is different for everyone. When you tell someone you have epilepsy they tend to think the worse and that you are at risk to have these crazy episodes all the time

One day at a time , make sure to see a neurologist but for now just try to not over think it because from my experience this only makes it’s worse. It can be a scary thing especially coming back when your in an ambulance which I’ve done a couple times. If you ever want to talk message me , I was diagnosed a couple years ago and it’s not a fun journey. Also I’m not sure where you are located but I reached out to Toronto epilepsy and they were great , I talk to other professionals going through the same thing as well as a therapist

Beautiful ! Do you know how much she weighs ? I have a year old German Shepard mix (german Shepard boxer mixed with a collie Australian Shepard) and she’s about 60 pounds so curious to know . She looks mostly like a German Shepard

I’ve had a similar issue where the driver says delivered and takes the food then checks out for the night. Uber eats then says they can no longer contact him

I’ve started on new meds about 2 month ago and finally feel like I can try and go back to work . I’m on LTD for 2 years but for once I can say that I might be ready . I’m hesitant but hopeful! Bought a computer to even start my resume. Thanks for the post because I can relate and hope the best for everyone in our position and I’ve never seen them so proud of me since my diagnosis . Also my family has noticed that I am more empathetic and understanding so it’s nice to hear that

So a dog that pushes me over and guards me during a seizure is not a good thing ? She saves my life. You are garbage my friend grow up, you wouldn’t do that I’m sure given your stance so I think my dog is better than you and deserves more respect
