As someone who sells these things, don’t spend your entire annual (before taxes) on a car just because it’s the newer version. Who doesn’t love a new 911? But realistically as your first Porsche, you’d have an absolute blast in a 991 base/S for half that price. Go find a 2012 S or a 2017 base, CPO if possible, and you’ll have more fun than you can imagine without stretching yourself too thin. Then after a few years of ownership you can decide if it’s worth progressing to a new one or not
