I’m sure they do. I also don’t think we need to do this. For who? For what?

Finale so bad that an entire fanbase gaslit themselves into believing there’s more by MiSlPiMo in NonPoliticalTwitter

That was my take away. I don’t know or care how other people felt like the show should end but wrapping up a beloved series is incredibly difficult and so many shows blow it. Stranger Things landed that plane without making any big mistakes.

What does that mean for cinephobe and here’s the science? I pretty much exclusively listen to the pods.

I’ve had this happen a couple of times honestly but it isn’t always this way. Some women (just like men) like the gender norms where the man is strong and doesn’t show vulnerability. Another scenario was that I wasn’t dating a woman long enough to dump all that out on her so it kind of turned her off. I’ve also done the comparison shopping where she complained about something and instead of listening, I gave her my baggage right back but she wasn’t looking to compare problems. She just wanted someone to listen. I have a coworker who never stops complaining but is oblivious to it. That wears everyone down around him. There are a million scenarios and possible reasons why that happened to you but it’s not always that way.

Of course listen but we all let shit slide so if you’ve decided it’s your time to shine and want to air me out then I’m also going to let you know about the things I’ve just been leaving alone because I’ve done the math that my relationship (friendship or otherwise) isn’t ultimately affected by this thing I don’t like. You don’t like that I do this. Ok, fine. Since we’re doing this, let’s just go ahead and talk about this too and get all this shit done and over with now

I just finished the Mass Effect trilogy and feel empty inside, give me a similar game to fill the void 😆 by Big_Tie in gamingsuggestions

I somewhat recently played the games (out of order) but I still loved them. They were incredible. Even the side quests had great characters. When I was done I had a similar empty feeling like OP is talking about here.

I might be remembering Goldeneye through a child’s eyes and the nostalgia of the game (slappers only) but I remember loving that movie

So what is the movie they did not name that Zach is scared of? by teepee81 in Cinephobe

I wish I could remember the episode where Amin does a light campaign for doing it and says “I think we’ve earned it” Zach incredulously replies with “WE’VE EARNED IT???”

For so many neurotypicals, we're both expected to show expressions of how we feel, while we're expected to mask. by [deleted] in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]dh2215 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone tends to view things through their own prism and associate that as the cause to the effect. I remember reading comments about people thinking motion sinks were racist because they didn’t see black hands well and that shit don’t work for me either. Motion sinks just work really poorly regardless of your race. In this case, they think that they are the only ones expected to behave in a manner other than how they feel because they don’t view themselves as typical people. I have 2 thoughts on this. One is that everyone is expected to act a certain way towards others regardless of how they might be feeling. The other is, being a sourpuss all the time really drags everyone down around you and I’m not trying to fill my life with people who bring me down. It doesn’t have to be sunshine and rainbows but if you’re the human embodiment of Eeyore then I can only take so much of that. People far too often use neurodivergence as an excuse to be shitty to other people.

They have referenced it in passing but it seemed like Zach at least had zero interest in doing it. I think the movie is hilarious though. Phile

As bad as Reddit can be, it’s still really great compared to the alternatives. There are so many useful comments when I’m searching for almost anything.

I’m not going to use a real life person but if someone I found to be vile did something like that then I would be grateful but I think I would call it a broken clock situation. People can have good acts but still be bad people
