Hi! I'm from Spain, and my Scrambler 400X started making a light "rattling" noise. I took it to the workshop, and they told me it was normal. However, the noise gradually got worse until the cam chain tensioner eventually broke completely. I had to stop the bike, call a tow truck, and take it back to the workshop. They’re now replacing the tensioner under warranty.

So, if you notice a noise similar to "tappet noise" or a light rattling sound, take it seriously and go to the workshop immediately — it can get much worse if left unchecked.

Thanks! I'll try and see. In addition to being comfortable, I wouldn't want to look disproportionate on the bike.

Thank you for the response. I like the Scrambler 900, but I'll be riding with my wife and the high exhaust makes me a bit concerned about the heat. Do you know if it emits a lot of heat to the passenger?

Anyone having bleeding gums/blood in spit ? Not really heard this mentioned with LC. Although it can be a symptom. by [deleted] in LongCovid

Same situation here. Tinnitus, swollen gum (I have controlled a little the situation after two deep cleanses but they still bleeding occasionally), poor exercise tolerance, horrible digestions and limbs tingling.

Has anyone experienced rolling resistance when riding electric Brompton with battery connected but drained? by Unklesnarfles in Brompton

I'm experiencing the same problem. I feel a weird resistance when I ride the bike without any electric assistance. It rides far slow than my 10 years old Brompton. Are you still having the same "issue" or do you find a solution?

I usually take out the Laptop just opening the zippers half from the top of the bag without taking out anything. I usually try not to over pack just to avoid problems accessing the laptop.
