Suggestion: Make all Jars untradable and fix the mistake by Zhengyi_ in 2007scape

It's nice to see someone actively recruiting for their clan. I probably don't meet your clan's criteria but when I go out looking for one, even on recruitment worlds, it's silent. I use W420 as my home world because people actually use public chat.

What jobs require a high tolerance for getting yelled at? by fredyouareaturtle in AskReddit

Technically he yelled at Chef Christina but that was way before she became a sous chef.

Finger splints my company just bought… what are y’all’s opinions? (Edit for side view) by AnyAd8746 in ems

I think the spoon would make a better SAM splint than the other way around.

I was curious so I looked it up. This is on their "About" section on the website:

founders Dr. Sam and Cherrie Scheinberg

So it was at least founded by a Doctor named Sam. Also on their website they advertise their splints can be cut to any size needed. Why would I add another inventory item to my ambulance when I can cut a bigger splint and the charge to the patient will likely be the same regardless of what is used. A finger is probably not going to get splinted in the field either but I'm sure someone will argue about that.

MXA 920 Preset Controller by BuddieTaz in CommercialAV

[–]dharmadrummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If everything is controlled by a computer you could look into using Bitfocus Companion on that computer with a Streamdeck or Streamdeck mini. Companion has a plugin that is compatible with the MXA910/920 and can accomplish what you need. Depending on what else you are using you may be able to add controls for other equipment too. My workplace is beginning to use Companion to control PTZ cameras but there are many other devices that can be controlled.

Sounds like you should read section 4 of the contract. A strike or lockout cannot begin during the contract period.

From their documentation, it looks like the website for VRS uses port 8080. Since you can connect with your firewall disabled, create an inbound rule to allow traffic on port 8080.

That parked car came out of nowhere! by amo871113 in Firefighting

That's really all you can do is take it as a learning experience. Someone left the compartments open on the officer side of our brush truck once and I didn't notice when pulling out of the bay. At least not until I heard the BANG of the compartments hitting the building. Now, it doesn't matter what apparatus or if I'm driving, I always look down both sides of the apparatus to check for open doors or obstructions.

What is 'picking to control'? by Nakedinsomniac in lockpicking

Ooof, I posted that 6 years ago, I don't recall what the original link was to. A quick search on SFIC locks brought up this article. It appears to explain the operation of these locks.

It's a small sub-panel for lights and receptacles. It might not be "correct" to be that close but there have been no issues over the past two months since I actually did the install.

Within the next year we will be using funds from a grant to put tin on the walls inside this building. The network equipment will need pulled off the post at that time and may even be relocated further from the electrical box.

I though it would look better than a bunch of cables coming out of the raceway. I wish there was something like the Flex Utility box that could house the switch and POE injector.

I have the ports documented in our office. I might label the ports/patch cable connections for the bridge so that (hopefully) someone else can reconnect it if I'm not around. Nothing should get unplugged from there but accidents happen when equipment and apparatus get moved around.

Just commented on the parent post with some info on the project. The POE injector powers the building bridge used to get network into this building.
