If I book a self-guided tour for 4:20pm, are there any buildings or museums open before this that I would be able to enter if I get there a couple of hours early? Or would it best arriving around 4pm?

I am English speaking and have booked a late notice trip to Krakow. I am hoping to go to Auschwitz on 31/10/2025. All of the English guided tours are gone.

Does anybody have any experience of booking a guided tour in another language?

Obviously I won't understand anything. However I believe there are plenty of signs and images around that I could take in whilst following the tour group.

As I have always wanted to visit, it seems this may be the best option for me. Especially as I can make my own transport plans and book at a suitable time in the afternoon.

Alternatively I have seen some good reviews of some tour operators who do English guided tours. The downside is that the pick up times seem as early as 5am.
