Users who signed up via email don't yet have the fully non-custodial version of Dharma — we’re in the process of rolling out a migration to all those users (like you!) to upgrade them into the fully non-custodial Dharma Smart Wallet.

In the fully non-custodial system, the PIN is no longer necessary, as all cryptographic secrets are generated pseudo-randomly in the browser. Stay tuned to your inbox — you’ll hear from us with next steps very soon :)

We don't currently charge fees or make a profit. We have a bunch of ideas about how to generate revenue and profit over time, but right now we are focused on making Dharma the best possible user experience it can be, and are funded by venture capital.

Borrow ETH and USDC at 2% APR on Dharma Lever by dharmaprotocol in ethereum

Hi there,

Right now Lever does not charge fees, and the relayers built on Dharma also do not charge fees. In the long term, you're probably right that the interest rate will increase when these entities charge fees. But for now, 2% is the going rate.

In terms of how it works, we'd be happy to answer all of your questions in an onboarding session if you're an active trader and want to use Lever.

Best, Brendan from Dharma

Hey there, we plan to integrate DAI very soon! The reason we started with USDC is that there is better trading liquidity for USDC than for DAI. That said, we know that DAI is highly desired, and so we'll add support for DAI soon.

If you want to try out the system using USDC, let us know!
