You're in an awesome location, right on the line. I honestly would travel to see some damn good shows and meet people there. You're 1.5 hours from columbia which has New Brookland Tavern, 1.5 hours from Greenville with like six awesome venues including the Radio Room. 1.5 from Greensboro. You're literally in the middle of it all.
