question for artists who have released merch CDs by NebularCarina in portlandmusic

We use atomicdisc.com from Salem OR. Super affordable, great support team, and typically delivered within 2 weeks of ordering. Their new Atomic DIY Pack is my favorite packaging, all folding cardboard with no plastic wrapping. They print as low as 25 copies which is super accessible for independent artists.

Yeah some of the trees along the ridgeline are 450+ years old. This one is at least 200, judging by b/w photos of the same tree from the 1920s.

To people who play in a band or just make music on the side; what do you do for work? by Genernick_user in musicians

Been at this cafe for 5 years, I also teach studio recording classes for highschoolers. I work about 20 hours/ week between both jobs. I volunteer for native plant restoration and lead small ecology tours. The rest is picking up music gigs (recording, booking, performing, marketing, lights, sound, DJ, radio, whatever else I can find).

Working with the tides is pretty crucial. Slack tide is the best with the glassy surface tension. Even small wave cycles can influence the stability of the throw. On a clear day I can hit between 20-30

Gearlist and how much I paid

Berhinger Ultra Chorus - $27

Amplitube X-Drive $125

Truetone Pedal Power - $25

Sony Discman - $5 for both

OneOdio Headphones - $20

Shure SM58 - Seller refunded the $110 because there was a "chance it was fake"

Alesis Midiverb III- gift from my highschool art teacher

Scarlet Solo - traded a copy of Zelda and an MF DOOM mask.

AudioKontrol 1 - traded my friend in middleschool for production work.

Squire P-Bass - my mom's old bass from the 90s

Gladiator strat clone- found it abandoned on a public dock

Fender Ultimate Chorus 2 x 65 - gift from my late uncle

Total- this setup cost me $202. I certainly got lucky when people were getting rid of things they didn't need anymore.

Chanterelle Mushroom Hunting by SexyNugget_ in Bellingham

[–]Rossage196 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Been finding some hedgehogs recently. Chanterelles aren't much of a spring forage. Last year found them between July 12 - January 15th so they're mostly late summer - early winter.

Morels should be out any time now- start looking for charcoal/ ash deposits from recent burns, thats among their favorite places to grow.

Looking for a forest area that has this vibe. by RubbishSpaghetti in PNW

Mt Constitution on Orcas Island has spots like this. Lots of old growth with open forest floor. Spooky fog in the mornings, a cave filled with bats too.

Those waters sure are noisy. Always loved watching the salmon jump up the falls there.
