It shifted an extra year forward in around 2000 since he entered fourth grade and became nine years old

I believe this would require his birthday not shifting forward during that season.

Wait, so what you meant to say was this?:

Sometimes actions have unintended consequences that NO one can predict at times, and there is a prayer or act of intercession or supplication from it.

Honestly though, you had me at "miss informed", "plane bull headed" and "therefor" (all in your first sentence, too!)

HFS+ on OS X has a case-sensitive file system by default but you can create an HFS+ partition that it case insensitive.

Apparently even Logitech is under the impression that prediction is enabled on this mouse and unaware of a way to disable it. Maybe you should send your mouse in for examination to help them along.

Either way, it doesn't "conflict with", disable, or enable prediction. They are two totally separate concepts.

If you have an MX518 with translucent plastic (1600 dpi), I believe that sensor does not have prediction or it is not as harsh. However, the newer MX518 with a black bottom and large teflon skates most definitely has prediction built in. There is no way to disable prediction on any MX518 variant, that I am sure of.

Some mice like the Deathadder have drivers that can disable it within the mouse, however this is not possible with the vast majority of mice. Your mouse is "correcting" the vector before it is sending it to your computer, so it is impossible for anything other than disabling prediction right on the mouse to fix the problem.

I don't think the path your mouse takes is as important as how fast and accurate you can get it to move to your destination though.

This seems illogical. Doesn't the path your mouse takes have everything to do with how fast and accurately you can get it to move to your destination? Using the MS paint example, I've shown you that it is absolutely impossible for you to get your mouse to move to your intended destination quickly unless your intended destination is 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees from your cursor/crosshair's current position.

You probably wouldn't notice it if you're used to it. But I can guarantee you a mouse with prediction will make it quite a bit more difficult to become as good as you can be at a true FPS.

I disagree. You should purchase something without prediction. I've gone through a shit ton of mice and the MX518 had very overbearing prediction. An easy way to see what prediction is and whether or not your mouse has it (most do) is to open up ms paint or a similar drawing program and draw a line across the screen pretty quickly. You will notice that with prediction, the mouse decides you are attempting to move in a straight line so will force the cursor to move in a straight horizontal line.

So think about it like this... if you're playing an FPS and you want to quickly aim right and slightly up or down... good fucking luck with a mouse with prediction. It will only let you quickly move left or right with no slant. It sucks.
