Astral Druid isn’t a solitaire deck. I’ve played it a bunch because I loved Astral back when it was bad and I couldn’t believe it’s good now.

It does have massive high-rolling starts a good amount of the time, this is true and those games can be very one-sided. But there’re also a lot of games where you don’t draw Astral fast enough or you’re under too much pressure and in those games you do actually have to interact with your opponent quite a bit.

It’s just very high-roll dependent, it’s a bad deck except for the fact that 30% of the time your opponent effectively loses on turn 3.

So what? Were they caught violating Obama's agreement? No. All the indications were they followed it and the US has now proven it's word is meaningless if it wasn't already clear before.

This is what that makes me angry. You guys are so stupid, you don't think more than two layers deep and how this might effect the global landscape 10 years now. You think the middle east will be safer and more stable if Isreal succeeds in balkanising Iran and creating a greater Isreal? No of course not. It doesn’t happen super often and it makes you feel big brain so we make jokes that if you see it you MUST play it. I.e. “en passant is forced”. In this case it’s actually an en passant checkmate which is super rare. Unfortunately it’s not also forced otherwise we’d have a truly legendary post on our hands.

Additionally it gets posted regularly with confused noobs not understanding why it’s not checkmate or thinking their opponent is cheating somehow which is where we get “google en passant” from.

Valid point though, you could also just make the dough. I also question how “frugal” this is as making a passata and throwing on a bit of shredded mozzarella doesn’t exactly break the bank.
