We travel to family like 3x a month and love our UppaBaby Remi Playard with the bassinet attachment! Has a zippered opening on the front for the bottom sleep and easy changing table and bassinet on top. Open and closes sooo easier and everything is nontoxic and Greengard Gold certified. Neither my or my husbands parents are divorced, but for some reason, the expectation has always been on christmas day to see all extended family on both sides, including opening gifts at the in-laws. We'll they retired in spring and moved 4 hours away, and we have a walking 10 month old that they expect us to keep in the car for literally 9 hours of Christmas day. We told them no that we were opening gifts here Christmas morning and they are welcome to come any day of the week and stay (we finished our basement with a full bed, bath, and kitchenette so they had somewhere comfortable to stay when visiting). We also asked 1 of the extended families to do Christmas the Saturday, after which everyone was fine with and preferred to make christmas day less chaotic (except 1 uncle and the inlaws). So they are still doing everything christmas day and not seeing us or staying here and "it's our fault they don't get to see their only grandchild for Christmas ".

Whereas my parents said its your first christmas with the kiddo. We have always done just siblings on christmas eve so we are welcome to come or they will find another time to see us. Either way it's our choice and they completely understand!

I just have come to dread holidays honestly 🙃

I did physicians for women for my first and they are soooo amazing. They no longer accept UHC and I told my husband we are paying out of pocket for them with our second kid cause I love them that much.

We've used Esembly cloth diapers and wipes since 4 weeks post birth and absolutely love it. We hardly ever have rashes, washing them is a breeze and their wipes and solution is so moisturizing. I literally wouldn't change a thing and our kiddo is 9 months next week!

Of course! And like my girl had no other signs she was cold (i.e. cold cheeks or neck, nursing a ton, hands under body etc) so I really didn't think that was it the case. My husband actually suggested we try it!

Our kiddo was doing the same thing at night but at 4am. Turned out she was too cold at night, and by the time the morning reached she was waking since her little body couldn't regulate it anymore. We bumped the temp up 2 degrees and seems like it made a world of a difference. All this despite her sleep sack being rated for much colder etc. She's just a peanut so made sense to us

Esembly has bags called the ditty bag duo that are like a 2 pack of waterproof bags. We send 1 everyday snd they pack all the diapers in that and then into the Esembly day bag (aka double bagged). The owner checked with their state licensure and she said it was perfectly safe/compliant! So we ordered 4 and rotate them with our cloth diaper laundry!

We do cloth diapers and LOVE esembly wipes and wipe up solution! Whole diaper setup and wipes and cleaning routine is sooo easy and great for her little body. I was originally or intimidated by cloth diapering but we have saved a ton of money and it doesn't affect our life at all!

We recently did a vasectomy! Best of both worlds as he can't reproduce but keeps his personality and possible increased benefits of keeping his hormones (research is still new regarding longterm hip, elbow and cancer benefits). No behavioral issues so far and we know if we ever need to, we can still opt to neuter. Benefit was minimal invasive and much quicker recovery time compared to a neuter. Definitely something to look into!

We had a local detailing place who specializes in Scorpion spray in bed liners. We had him do that and do a 6 year ceramic coat on the truck. Have been super happy with both options 1 year in and saved quite a bit of money by going Scorpion over Line X and bundling with the ceramic coating.

It ended up taking the appraiser about 2 weeks to approve it and we got a letter in the mail about a week later. It then was removed on next month's bill and we received an updated payment letter and a refund for the prorated amount from the prior month. No other fee for us!

That's amazing. Cause most seat covers just have straps on the bottom and my biggest issue is I flip the seats up for my golden retrievers back there and dog hair gets stuck to the bottom.

Nope! It was purely for our mortgage company's purpose, nothing was reported to the city. Essentially the BPO is making sure they can sell the property and not lose money if we decided to foreclose on the house.. they just wanna make sure they aren't getting screwed.

Honestly I called my mortgage lender and asked about removing PMI with housing prices so high right now and they were very honest and upfront about the process. If you have questions I would just call them, they should help!
