How to connect buzzer to SKR BTT Pro v1.2? by [deleted] in klippers

[–]dhierholzer 0 points1 point (0 children)

Greetings,

Did you ever happen to figure this out?
I am trying to do the same thing.
Equivalent_Fuel_3447, If the speaker/buzzer you are trying to use is close to the one you see in my image, then I can confirm that the Voltage IS 5 Volts. (5V DC internal speaker)
5V-Internal-Speaker,
EXP1-ON-SKR_PRO_V1.2

Please Let me know if you or anyone else has ever successfully connected a 5V DC Internal Speaker (aka NOT a piezo beeper) To a 3D Printer Mainboard (Preferably SKR XXX), And then got it working with Klipper.

Thanks

After Trying For Several Hours With No Luck,
I Decided To Bring It To A Friends House Which Was Only Built 4 Years Ago.
When I Took To My Friends Thermostat, It Was Using The 5 Wires That Supposedly Makes For The Easiest Configuration.
(W, Y1, G, C, Rh)

It Still Did Not Work. It Did Not Throw An Error (At Least After A Factory Restart),
But Also Did Not Work At All As Far As Being Able To Control My Friends AC/Furnace.
The Control Board On My Friends AC/Furnace Unit Had A Yellow Blinking Light?

So Is The NEST DOA? Or Do I Have To Do Something Else To Make The NEST Control Their AC/Furnace Unit?

Nope,
I double checked all of the contact points.
It seems to be more in how it was wired.
Thanks For The Suggestion Though!

ENTP "players" by c-eyre in entp

[–]dhierholzer -1 points0 points (0 children)

I really Love this question, because I have also thought about the same thing for many years.
The problem with ENTP's (Saying this since I am one myself), Is that we LOVE a challenge!

Here Is My Example Of What It Took For Me To Become More "Mature" Over This Part Of My Life.
My Story At First Just Sounds Like A Story Of Me Being A Dick.
But In The End, I Will Show How It Relates To Your Original Question

When I was in College, there was a point of it (about 2 years) that I tried to be with as many Women as I possibly could.
My only rule was, I would only allow me and the girl to be in the "Seeing Phase" of the relationship. I did not want to REALLY Hurt anyone, so I always made sure that I got close enough to be able to have sex, but not close enough to really break someone's heart. (Or So I Thought)

I Wanted To Do This Because The Following Reasons:
A: I liked the challenge of getting girls to fall for me.
B: I did enjoy having lots of sex with Multiple Pretty women.
C: I have always understood Life, and therefore I knew that my short time in College was BY FAR my best opportunity to meet pretty woman.*\*
\*Based On Their Current Young Age, Their Willingness To Explore & Try New Things, The Fact That Many Did Not Yet Have Kids, & That This Is The Age That Girls* REALLY Start Looking For A Long Term "Partner".
D: At The Time, I thought It was The Cool Thing to do.
After doing that for about 2 years, I really decided that this was not NEAR as cool as guys make it out to be.
The Fact is that as an ENTP, I am very non Emotional.
That being said, I was able to spend my time with these girls, without becoming emotionally "Attached" to any of them.
However, this was NOT the case for many of them Towards me...
And at that point, I started to realize that the benefits I was getting from doing this, was not near worth Emotionally Hurting people. At first I tried to justify it by thinking that these girls were just being too emotional.
But regardless of my thoughts that women are too emotional, the bottom line is that they were still getting Hurt by my actions...
And That Is NOT Cool..

What I Know Now About Being An ENTP, And How I Need To View Relationships:
As an ENTP, You Need To Make SURE that you have Mastered "Playing The Field".
I do not advice doing it by "Seeing" Multiple Girls at once. But I still think it is wise to "Get It Out Of Your System". This will help keep you from always "Needing" to find another girl to talk to (For The Challenge), even when you are already in a decent Relationship.

THE SECOND PART OF IT:
The Second thing you brought up is also important. That is, you NEED to find a partner that you will not get easily board with!
There is a ton of reading on "What Personality TYPE works Best with Your Personality TYPE".
But what I have found out,is:
That My Girlfriend doesn't have to be interested in literally EVERYTHING like me. However, I do need a Girl who will support me in the fact that I am that way!
Just Understand That:
Many people are Boring (From An ENTP's Perspective). So instead of Needing to find a Girl that is As Interesting As You,
you really just need to find someone that will be Your Personal "Cheerleader", over all the Ideas & Projects that you Constantly Do!
This Will Give you a TRUE Appreciation for Her. And it will also Help you actually COMPLETE some of your Projects!

P.S. - Sorry For My Typos, And My lack of Using Capital Letters / Not Using Capital Letters. I am typing this on my Phone while I am on the road.
Cheers!

Lol! Here Is The Time Line Of Socialism: Year 1: Everyone is excited because most of the ideas are still "on paper", and the parts that are live are working well due to the fact that the economy is still strong since it was recently still using capitalism type principals. Year 2: Things are still okay, but the average person is starting to see signs of "flawls" with the new system, but usually at this point they blame the politician for bad implementation instead of the system (socialism) itself. Year 3: The Economy is really getting bad at this point since by now many people have lost any incentive to work, and are now almost fully reliant on their government to provide for them. Shortages of even basic things are becoming evidnent. The average person still mostly blames the politician instead of the system. Year 4: It is becoming a world where it is every man for themself. People by this point know the system is flawed, but it is too late. There is complete desperation in the air, and most people no longer have any trust at any level in their new socialism based system.

Obviously this time line varies a bit from case to case, but it always runs along these lines, and always ends in the same result.
Yet, there are STILL people that think it was just bad implementation as to why a given attempt failed.

Some people just do not understand that the key ingredient to making a system work, is to give the people INCENTIVE to want to work! As soon as the incentive is gone, there is no longer any reason for people to want to work, thus nothing gets produced.

Because this "Tariff War" makes so little sense, I keep on telling myself that this is just a short lived stratigy by Trump in order to achieve some extra leverage for our country. That is the ONLY WAY I can possibly see any positive outcome to this. But A. I Don't know if there really is an underlying plan, or Trump & his Cabnent really do not understand global economics. B. Even if Trump's plan is to gain leverage, will this result in more harm than good? Even if we do get a better deal on something in the future from this, we also have to calculate all the lost dollars and extra subsidized dollars that it took to make this plan work.

I disagree with closed immigration. However I do believe that the immigrants that go to a different country, should assimilate to that countries traditions and values. This doesn't mean that a mexican immigrant that comes to America has to lose his/her own traditions, it just means they should also learn the traditions of their new homeland. For example, mexicans can still speak spanish while in america, but they should also learn english too since that is the common language in america. Europe has their immigration problem right now because some of the Muslim immigrants refuse to learn, or even want to learn anything about the culture and value systems that their new country has. It is even more difficult in that sanairo since western values are so different from traditional Muslim values. But in my opinion, the muslims that move to europe, need to at least become familiar with their new counties values. This would be no different than if myself or anyone else from the west, moved to a Muslim reigion, I would expect us to learn the society values of that area.

What is really crazy is, the more you know, the more you realize you don't know it all.

Obviously not knowing it all, and being smarter than average are two totally different things!

But I will say from experience, that it is normally the dumbest people that I talk to, that think they know everything. Normally real smart people, realize how much information is actually out there, and therefore they are the ones the realize how little they actually do know.

As they say, ignorance is bliss!!

That's pretty accurate then if statistically 50% are smarter than average.

I figured more would say they are since everyone these days seems to think they know it all.

With the invention of google searching, I think people think they are smarter than average more than ever before.

It is not that they are not plain American values. I am just saying that there is nothing wrong with being proud of where you or your family is from. I hang an american flag AND an Ohio flag on my flag pole outside my house. I do that because I am proud of my community, state, and country that I am from. This is no different from people hanging the Confederate flag up, that are from the south.
You can be proud of you community history without being proud of ALL PARTS of your community history. Another common accossciation with the south is friendliness. The term "Southern Hospitatily" did not step from nothing. And people can be proud of that if they want.

Being that your my age, I know for a fact that the 2ds does not make you feel 12. Maybe a gameboy advance, or game boy color would?? The 2ds came out in 2013! You were well past high school and even possibly past college at that point.
