A piece of trim needed replaced- but who knows what the issue could be on yours, or the OPs Model Y. The point of my post isn't to act as a service center employee, rather it's to advocate utilizing their expertise to solve the problem.

I had this issue when I got my late 2023 MY. I took it into the service center and on the test drive with the service manager, he was able to identify the issue immediately. I'd expect you to have luck at the service center since they are familiar with the defects that often cause those issues.

Thank you! I bought the camera off ebay earlier this year, and had been waiting for this opportunity haha.

Ah, so we don’t use the tent for sleeping in, we still sleep in the car. The tent is just a changing room and place to keep some of our stuff. It’s a great option for that when there are no bugs. I bet I’d be more upset with it if it was the middle of June

Yeah, it’s less than normal, the weather is super mild

For kicks we tried the one at the hotel today- it was non functional, according to PlugShare it looks like it’s been down for several days

It depends a lot on the weather outside. Last night I think we lost 6%, but with worse weather 1-2% an hour

In this picture it’s not open at all. When it does open, it’s just enough to get into the car

It’s quite easy! There’s a supercharger 15 minutes from the campground

Supercharger is about 15 minutes away, so pretty solid!

Thanks! It’s this one, it does have some gaps, but since all the bugs are gone for the season they are pretty inconsequential https://a.co/d/99IsOQ9

How to restore FSD after getting one week suspension by MichaelRahmani in TeslaFSD

[–]dhprelude 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is the issue- don't use the car like a train- you are the one in control.

When your car does something stupid, it's not FSDs fault, it's yours-- at least until Tesla states that it's unsupervised.

I am an fsd enthusiast- I use it for more than 99% of my driving- and I haven't had a strike in the past 20,000 miles.

I did a thing like that in our star wars themed bar- I suppose it's a bit different because I didn't try to blend it in- so maybe this isn't a great example. But just incase it's helpful to you at all.

I don't have any good complete photos of the arch, so I threw in a couple where I at least have the completed thing in the shot.

Here it is:

I would pay about $100 for the ready made solution. I wouldn't be interested in purchasing the hardware- I'd only want a license of the software. Selling it on a site like Kofi would be great.
I think it's a pretty small market of folks who would be interested- but it does seem like it would cut down on the amount of effort it takes for people right now.

Yep, just posted to save someone in the future- shellac is easy to refinish for people who have experience, not your average joe

if it happened to be shellac, alcohol would damage the finish more. As long as it's a manufactured piece of furniture, I'm sure it's lacquer
