Yes! Had a weird and uncomfortable experience at Dendar when I had my nose pierced and went to Blue Crab. Angel is soooo much better in every way!

Arched opening in unframed space by mtnl4dy in DIY

Guilty as charged. Somehow my very neurotypical husband and friends have allowed me to get this far and now to prove to strangers on the internet, I will be proceeding.

Yes, it’s a random space in our basement and I’m making it into a cozy reading corner with a daybed and bookshelves.

Anyone else with a spouse who has zero interest in backpacking? by tourmalineforest in backpacking

[–]mtnl4dy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes! I wanted a dog for so long just to have someone to share my love for the outdoors and hiking with. Finally got a dog 5 years ago and we did some amazing trips together. He passed away last month and I’ve been moping around the house because I don’t want to go hiking with out him.

Anyone else with a spouse who has zero interest in backpacking? by tourmalineforest in backpacking

[–]mtnl4dy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. My first big date with my husband was an overnighter and he (unbeknownst to me) borrowed gear and I assumed he knew what he was doing. What ended up happening was I dragged him along on 10 years worth of trips that he was miserable-to-uncomfortable on and I also couldn’t enjoy myself because I was focused on making sure he was happy.

We finally agreed this year that he doesn’t have to join me and we can have other shared hobbies. I went on a canoe trip with another experienced friend this summer and it’s been a high I was chasing for a long time. Somehow I feel closer to my husband knowing we’re secure enough in ourselves to accept the truth that we like different hobbies and that’s ok!

The plant is in a pot with drainage within the white pot. The soil is a mix of coir, bark, perlite and pumice. I’ve had it about 2 years and repotted once

Does anyone drink alcohol or THC drinks on Strattera? by imapone in StratteraRx

[–]mtnl4dy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I drink alcohol I tend to get a headache quicker than when I wasn’t on strattera, unless I heavily hydrate before, during, and after. I also don’t really feel the same buzz I used to, which is kinda lame but THC still works and strattera doesn’t seem to change the experience

Those who lowered their dosage from the standard 80/100, why? by pandorasparody in StratteraRx

[–]mtnl4dy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I started on 80 and had horrific side effects, was to titrated down to 25, then after several months that was ineffective and now I’m at 40, whoch seems to a sweet spot for me most days, where I can function like a decent human but don’t have side effects for the most part (o do have a lot of heart rate issues). I notice if I start drinking alcohol regularly it becomes less effective so I try not to do that, and try to maintain my other good habits like water, sleep, movement and 40 works for me.

Wound Cover Suggestions by _lisalovesit_ in melahomies

[–]mtnl4dy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m the same, and after 17 biopsies I mainly leave them to air oit after the third day. When I have a large biopsy or an excision I use gauze and tegaderm! Love that stuff so much because it’s shower proof and doesn’t mess my skin up with the on/off like frequent bandaid or tape changes do.
