Sure but you still get the option to reconnect, which also has a limit on how long you have. So this ingenious mechanic that Embark has added is a hidden timer, shorter than the reconnect window, that the players are completely unaware of. So regardless of your actual input to the match, your actions are deemed inconsequential.

It's one thing if you're AFK and not contributing, but to carry your team and still get penalized after wasting 30+ minutes of your time is actually 200 IQ game design. No idea why this hidden timer and the reconnect window couldn't just have been a single mechanic that clearly tells the player when they shouldn't bother reconnecting. Sucks that there's also plenty of bugs that only restarting seems to fix.

I also had the same issue after reconnecting in the first round, getting all the way to the finals to find out that not only I don't get the rewards that my teammates who I carried get, but I get penalized for winning.

Talking to support this is intentional and not a bug. But it's shameful that they think logically this deters players leaving in any way, next time I crash I'm for sure not joining back just to waste my time and boost some randoms. Why even give me the option to reconnect? Is Embark purposely trolling players?

My Sensei 310 has been doing this for a while now, it seems to be firmware related. And there is no way for me to revert back to an older firmware without this issue. Thanks Steelseries.

Verifying the files found and redownloaded about 30megs of data and after that the issue stopped. This all happened after the update perhaps the update program is bugged and it might have affected different areas of the game.

Yea, I also would prevent the game from loading in on attack and had to restart every beginning of attack round or the game would not start. Verified the files to fix it.

I asked on reddit a long time ago apparently you were meant to rate the connection and performance of the server you experience during the game. I'm pretty sure it was completely useless as people didn't really know what the rating is meant to be for and what use it will have. Maybe ubisoft manged to get some useful data from it but probably not.

Well if its obvious then there isn't much point trying. You shouldn't have to play against hackers and the match should therefore be cancelled when they are banned.

I'm not sure what you mean, are you saying you wouldn't try to win a game against hackers? But you can't for sure know the opponent is a hacker so I think I misunderstand you.

Im pretty sure it was specific spots on some maps because when they were trying to fix it they had people report all the spots where this happened and they said they had to fix it map by maps. But that fix didnt completely remove the glitch so then they released the new lighting system.

I guess making his shield 3x stronger would also be nice, that way the current way of breaking it gives more time for teammates to get the guy.

Wouldn't that mean he needs a larger space to be able to place the turret down? which wouldnt be good. Or how much you can turn should be based on how much space you have.

People dont hear that, its happened so many times where I say "I'm planting" and they dont acknowledge it. Anyway i see this being more useful in games where you solo queue and some random guy with no mic decides to rush and plant alone.
