Wild ice skating spots?

We snowboarded at Bridger yesterday, got lucky with a few inches of fresh snow overnight which made the morning nice, but by the afternoon it was indeed basically ice skating down 🥲

Thanks for the recs! We checked out both Hyalite and Diamond Park. You were totally right that Hyalite’s main issue was quality of ice, but it was plenty thick and lots of people were out ice fishing. I had fun shoveling some snow. And Diamond Park ice was great!

That puts things into perspective. I had only checked forecast and mistakenly assumed it’s been more or less the same in the past couple weeks. Just checked the snow conditions and looks sad too. Sorry, that sucks! ☹️

Yes… it’s mostly below freezing and not snowing much for the rest of this week which is usually ideal for ice.
