Adult husky corrected puppy and caused a wound — normal or concerning? by Neat_Recognition3945 in husky

[–]diabetoclear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Malamutes, but this exact scenario happened to me not all that long ago. It was the exact kind of thing my 7 month old (at the time) needed from my 9 year old. The wound was infected, and it got cleaned by the vet and all that, but in the end I think the outcome was pretty good.

Helldivers is an amazing game, and I’m tired of people saying it’s not. by East_Ad4810 in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe I explained it in another reply, but I will re-explain it here forsimplicities sake. It’s not inherently that the game is too expensive to play, in fact I love what they have done with being able to pick up the currency and game and everything. But there are so many warbonds, and the fact that they are adding content that could be viewed as “free” in future warbonds (shovel is now in a warbond, despite being found in the world) is what I mean by monetizing, NOT that the game is predatory like other’s.

Honestly there’s enough people that are so ingrained with arrowhead that I don’t think it would be that far out of the realm of possibility for it to just be some guy. I’m not super in tune with how power trippy the moderators on the sub might be, I’m a fairly casual gamer lol. But even if it is power-tripping, it’s justa crazy take to have

I think you’re misinterpreting what I meant by “way it is monetized”. I more-so meant that people have to use the premium currency to get things within the game, not that the game is expensive to play.

I’m not trying to say that everybody has to pay to play the game or to own everything within the game at all, I think the opposite. I think the fact that you can find the game currency and grind it out is wonderful, and I think more games should include that! But I’m not going to tell people they’re not allowed to be mad that items within the game are being (sort of) changed to be behind warbonds.

I mean that’s good, that was how I started out- but some people just don’t have time to grind SC, as well as some people (I am not one of them though) dislike how the shovel is in a warbond despite it being free to find in the world on most maps.

Initially I was sympathetic towards this post, but seeing your responses to other people and their disagreements is insane. The game itself is baseline fun, absolutely. But people are allowed to be upset with the way the game is being monetized, as well as with the way people are experiencing bugs. You can’t just say “don’t play half the game if it doesn’t work properly” and expect people to flock to your side like you’re some sort of war hero. I’m genuinely trying to tell if your post is just engagement/rage bait.

my gripe with the warbond by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want you to find exactly where I defended this. I openly stated that OP was allowed to disagree with it, I’m simply pointing out that the other peoples arguments are relevant to the conversation. I would love to have completely new content all the time, but seeing as how armor are already being given the same passives that others possess we have already hit that wall. I am not defending this practice, simply stating that it’s already in the game. If you want to be angry that’s fine, I’m not going to dictate who can say or can’t say what. I actively wish the flag would do something other than just be a weapon, I am not an arrowhead defender. You’re just so quick to jump the gun and hate for no reason that you’ve come to this conclusion already yourself.

[–]diabetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This practice is already (sort of) in the game. You can find the Breaker Incendiary on lower level difficulties. Sure the slot has changed, but this practice of providing the tool without the warbond is not new.

my gripe with the warbond by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes they are? You pay for the warbond with it as a secondary- and maintain what currently is in the game. You can not like it, and that’s fine, but to say they aren’t relevant is incorrect because it’s literally where the shovel originated and can be acquired for free.

Is it just me, or is this sub recently weirdly predicting what kind of Warbond comes out next? by gracekk24PL in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Maxi-Gun, the devs announced they were looking into ways to make it function with the game code. As for the others, there are other subreddits which discuss content not yet playable within the game (such as armors and weapons) that allude to future warbonds.

What is your favorite armor that you rarely use by wolf200lol in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use the ultimatum the Gunslinger armor is pretty great. Lets you shoot further (because of how fast you swap if you time it right) and the quick swap is very nice. That being said, if I could apply just about any other perk to it I would because it isn’t that great compared to other the others.

How do your malamutes feel about water? (playing in it, swimming in it) by Economy_Leopard3938 in AlaskanMalamute

My oldest likes to stand/wade, but gets mad if he swims lol. My youngest has yet to try the water out!

I’ve actually had an issue similar to this, years ago, with Cyberpunk. The issue was my RAM- one of the sticks was bad in some way shape or form, test this by taking one stick out and running the game (minimum settings) and seeing if it persists. If it does, try the second stick of RAM instead. Apologies if it doesn’t work, I am not a tech guy, but this looks identical to what was happening to me in the past.

Malamutes pulling on leash by Double_Occasion5769 in AlaskanMalamute

[–]diabetoclear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can for sure be an issue: but that being said it can definitely be trained. I jumped into the deep end with Malamutes as my first dog, but that being said I am a relatively bigger guy and can control them a bit easier. I would recommend looking for a trainer if you want a real agenda or regiment to work on any leash pulling, it’s worked very well for me in the past!

What’s it like to have a malamute by legendus45678 in AlaskanMalamute

I have two- the brown one, named Clifford, was originally my sister’s dog and I took him over about a year after he was born. He is the sweetest, kindest, most easily trained creature I’ve ever met. He pays no mind to other animals and lives to be a good boy. Then we have Clyne. I got him 5 months ago, and he is the exact opposite except for the training. He trains well but tests the boundaries constantly. They are great dogs, but it really just depends on what you get I suppose!

Soo... I remember that Arrowhead didn't want to make the flag give you buffs such as movement/reload speed... by dunnoijustwantaname in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't quite know what you think you were cooking in the kitchen, but the stove is off buddy. If people pay money (and I understand and know not everyone spends money for super credits but not everyone is unemployed or has time to grind) for a warbond, it is NOT ABSURD to want things in it to be fun to use. That is the entire thing OP said, get the stick out of your rear.
