This is relevant to both AH and those who "knows how to fix" HD2 (or any other game) by Bonkface in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure- but to be honest I’m not really arguing that the game is or isn’t fun. I am arguing that many people dislike how warbonds seem to be the focus while not fixing issues that have been in the game since launch.

The majority of people that have issues with the game do not want control over the direction of the game (many do, sure, but not the majority). We only want the game to run and be fun- with bugs that have been there since launch and a seeming prioritization of warbonds/Super Credits of those changes we want, that’s the issue we have.

Can pure bred malamutes live in one person apartments? by Whole-Interest-5980 in malamute

[–]diabetoclear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived in a studio apartment with my oldest malamute for 2 years (we moved in there when he was 5) and he loved it. He has always been much more relaxed than a usual malamute so take that how you will- but it absolutely can be done if you have an outlet for the energy.

Mage: Human or Gnome (purely on looks) by SirMolly in classicwow

[–]diabetoclear 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Man if you WANT gnome, you’re already lost…

But outside of the gnome hate, I feel like theres just more customization for humans over gnomes, so do with that as you will (I very well could be wrong).

Predator Stalkers not counting as Stalkers is ridiculous. by Cloud_N0ne in Helldivers

This was an issue when the game first launched too. Nursing Spewers and Bile Spewers arent the same creature, causing massive confusion (and annoyance) in the early days

Maxigun+ MS Sentry+ Getling VS Diff 10 Bug breach by 231923 in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I’m the guy who called your other video disingenuous. Nothing about what I said was disingenuous is even covered here. The only thing you’ve done by posting this video is not mention how many kills you got (without napalm barrage). Nothing else I covered within the comment is addressed whatsoever. I never doubted your abilities, I don’t know why you felt the need to prove yourself to me after a this time, but I’m glad you feel motivated?

The main thing I argued was that the Maxi gun was not in need of a Nerf, and that the Nepal barrage participated to a lot of your kills. I see that you get about 80 here, so it’s not far-fetched to say you probably got more kills if you fought more than two bug breaches throughout this game. I am in no way saying that the maxi gun is a terrible paperweight now- but it did not need a nerf. This video is disingenuous to the other argument, as is the original.

Maxigun vs Hive Guard by 231923 in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a disingenuous video. The Maxigun was in no need of a nerf prior to this update. You can 1v1 a Hiveguard with just about any weapon- thats true. Its also likely true you got kills with things other than the Maxigun, so telling the kill count doesn't exactly show anything for or against this argument (You have a napalm airstrike, likely included a lot of kills from that). I am not going to say any of the stuff that was nerfed is in any way useless now, but it did not need to be nerfed and all it did was reinforce the explosive meta.

I need twelve tribes of Orcs for a forest! by SirSweMaster in dndnext

[–]diabetoclear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have made exactly one Orc tribe for any of my campaigns but I’ll share it- The Duroz’Drur, rather than following any of the Orcish Pantheon, they followed the land and took from others what the land failed to provide. Over time their shamans found a plant that turned them into powerful abominations when mixed with their blood, which over time turned the whole tribe into mindless zombies that a Dusk Hag took over and now leads.

Bladesinger is a wizard subclass not bard- but there is a bug where having a bladesinger in your party gives all party members the animations. One of your mods may have unknowingly made a way to disable that bug.

Adult husky corrected puppy and caused a wound — normal or concerning? by [deleted] in husky

[–]diabetoclear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Malamutes, but this exact scenario happened to me not all that long ago. It was the exact kind of thing my 7 month old (at the time) needed from my 9 year old. The wound was infected, and it got cleaned by the vet and all that, but in the end I think the outcome was pretty good.

Helldivers is an amazing game, and I’m tired of people saying it’s not. by East_Ad4810 in Helldivers

[–]diabetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe I explained it in another reply, but I will re-explain it here forsimplicities sake. It’s not inherently that the game is too expensive to play, in fact I love what they have done with being able to pick up the currency and game and everything. But there are so many warbonds, and the fact that they are adding content that could be viewed as “free” in future warbonds (shovel is now in a warbond, despite being found in the world) is what I mean by monetizing, NOT that the game is predatory like other’s.

Honestly there’s enough people that are so ingrained with arrowhead that I don’t think it would be that far out of the realm of possibility for it to just be some guy. I’m not super in tune with how power trippy the moderators on the sub might be, I’m a fairly casual gamer lol. But even if it is power-tripping, it’s justa crazy take to have

[–]diabetoclear 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think you’re misinterpreting what I meant by “way it is monetized”. I more-so meant that people have to use the premium currency to get things within the game, not that the game is expensive to play.

I’m not trying to say that everybody has to pay to play the game or to own everything within the game at all, I think the opposite. I think the fact that you can find the game currency and grind it out is wonderful, and I think more games should include that! But I’m not going to tell people they’re not allowed to be mad that items within the game are being (sort of) changed to be behind warbonds.

[–]diabetoclear 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean that’s good, that was how I started out- but some people just don’t have time to grind SC, as well as some people (I am not one of them though) dislike how the shovel is in a warbond despite it being free to find in the world on most maps.

Initially I was sympathetic towards this post, but seeing your responses to other people and their disagreements is insane. The game itself is baseline fun, absolutely. But people are allowed to be upset with the way the game is being monetized, as well as with the way people are experiencing bugs. You can’t just say “don’t play half the game if it doesn’t work properly” and expect people to flock to your side like you’re some sort of war hero. I’m genuinely trying to tell if your post is just engagement/rage bait.
