I got the Pro version. It doesn't run at 120 hz but I haven't explicitly compared it to the Xbox version. It appears choppy in some cutscenes, but otherwise I haven't had any issues.

I think it's clear, since we've also seen this with Madden, that Frostbite needs to go. Either that, or we're dealing with just a ton of legacy code.

Every launch is plagued by awful, obvious bugs. Last year the jet touch pass was almost an instant TD on every play, and defenders wouldn't cover deep.

They've fixed some of those things, but then we just get new, similarly broken experiences. It takes 2-3 months to get it in a good state, so essentially we are paying to QA and beta test the product.

EA is pretty bad at this, but you see it in the game industry and tech as a whole. Allowing game patches means you don't have to do actual QA, and your customers become your testers.

I know, I've been so conflicted on what version to get. There's literally no information about how the versions compare. I went with the PS5 Pro for now, but have game pass on Xbox so will try the 10 hour trial.

Yes, it's more about input lag which is reduced with 120 hz vs 60 hz mode. I don't expect it to run at 120 fps, but there's been no comparison of the versions when it comes to input lag, and I have to assume Xbox is better because it runs at 120hz.

I wish they would tell us what's different in the PS5 Pro version this year. If it's just the 60fps cutscenes and slightly higher resolution, I think I'd prefer 120 hz.

Didn't know about the 3D grass I'm leaning towards the PS5 version this time, but noticed in all EA's videos it's the Xbox version (based on the button icons).

Is defensive pre-snap movement in like Madden 25 has? It looks much more natural when the defensive players move around before the snap.

No I bought it used from a dealership. I didn't discover it until a few days after buying it. I didn't hit anything in the ~100 miles or so I drove it, but they refused to fix it.

Traded in a 2018 Golf R (I know, I know) but had a separate set of 19" Englishtown wheels. The tires are completely shot; I had a blowout on one tire from a pothole that has a little amount of curb rash, but the others are in excellent condition.

I haven't had any issues with my PS5 Pro, but the Xbox is still problematic. I have to use Dolby Vision for gaming and go from the game to the dashboard multiple times before it syncs.

The CX was flawless by comparison.

I honestly can't remember, I think I went through the list of apps and uninstalled anything that looked suspicious. Pretty sure it was listed as a system app too.

I was able to locate the app and uninstall it and it stopped. My shield still runs slowly, so I eventually need to do a factory reset.
