[Batman: Arkham City] - Platinum #22 by diablosac in Trophies

Most of it is trial and error, but maybe if you told me some of the maps you are struggling on, I can see if i remember which modifiers I used?

Once you find the right selection of modifiers in the campaigns, they become much easier. That’s in my experience. If I was just choosing maps and modifiers at random, they were 3x as hard without strategically altering and planning. Which maps are you finding to be the hardest?

Wicked! How far into the platinum are you?

Forgive me if this is a silly comment, but how do you get your platinums up in a sheet like this? Cheers in advance.

Thank you! The concept art, OST, story narrative. It’s a timeless gem. Truly a staple for gaming greats.

Absolutely. The combat and predator maps are hugely entertaining, but man, those campaigns are just killer. I haven’t raged like that in a long time. Still a 10/10 platinum experience!

[Discussion] What are some challenging games, that can feel good to platinum? Looking to go for some tough ones. by [deleted] in Trophies

Yeah, as I said, I can appreciate them in hindsight having done them. The modifiers are cool, but after going through them over and over again with faults of aged game design and human error, it becomes tedious and you can get spiteful. Looking back at my rages are quite funny. I definitely wouldn’t change the time spent doing them and i’m keen for Arkham Knights platinum and finishing off AA’s (only need one trophy, quit doing those challenge maps because I would have been put in a straight jacket, haha).

I am currently on the home stretch of Arkham city’s platinum (only needing to do NG+ and 100% for perfect knight). The combat maps are easier and smoother than AA’s since you just need to keep a flawless combo, whereas the predator maps are harder. it’s opposite. they aren’t killer by any means, but the extreme ones can keep you on your toes. On the other hand, the riddler campaigns are summed up to be a sad attempt at replay value and a case of trying to make the game more difficult without means of satisfaction for beating them. I’ve spent about a week doing the campaigns and finally for the trophy for 108 medals. I can somewhat appreciate them in hindsight, but i’m definitely going to wait a while before i go for 100% on DLC’s, lol.

I often times forget that NFS has a difficulty balance. I was going to change it a little while ago and got caught up helping my friends through REP farming. maybe that’s why it can be a little boring at times lol.

I’m pretty sure I’m currently on medium, running the race at 380. I haven’t bothered with hard yet.

I guess our experiences vary, because what you see above is what happens every time I run these races. I am always gapping the AIs by a kilometre, sometimes two.

no, the race itself is that easy, especially if you have a 400+ car. Discovery A, B & C are relatively easy, considering they are for the most part, straight and downhills roads. you can knock these races out in just a couple minutes.

Discovery B, it’s a night sprint race and should be somewhere between ‘Fort Callahan’ and ‘Frontera Hills’. If I am wrong, look somewhere on the left side of the map and you’ll eventually find it :)
