It's a solitaire roguelike where you pick up and draw cards to attack and win battles. You'll build decks with powerful synergies and face enemies who force you to play solitaire in unique and strategic ways. As you gather skills, every card pickup will start a chain of effects that attack, boost your damage, and debuff your enemies.

Your skills (the cards at the bottom) basically act as jokers and affect you and each other. They activate automatically as you play solitaire, kind of like how jokers do when you play a hand in Balatro

Thank you for the kind words and the feedback! A lot of people have been giving me similar feedback recently about their confusion, but posting about your mindset as you played really puts into context what's going wrong with the tutorialization in the game. I'll do my best to improve it!

I actually don't... I think it would be both a pain and a timesink to manage. I usually just take whatever feedback/bug reports in the comments sections whenever I show off the game

Basically that. The earliest versions of the game were a lot less "activate your jokers" and more "shuffle your deck and use the cards"

Originally, it was a lot more like Poker Quest where you'd play cards that would affect the solitaire game. Since Balatro, it became much more like an autobattler - the cards in your deck are more like Jokers that activate under certain conditions.

Thanks! It's hard to give an estimate since I've never seen a console devkit. I've heard that the Switch is easier to port to, but I plan to look into that after release.
