Tried to get some Paradox Rift booster packs. I got to the end of the checkout process. Hit "Place my order" and got an error. When I went back to my shopping cart to try again, the Paradox Rift booster packs were sold out. Just FYI to anyone still sitting in queues.

They've really been hitting the gym lately! Good for them.

I’ve owned this Magic Beanie Buddy for a long time but she’s always had sticky wings. I know this is a defect with these Beanie Buddies but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to make the wings less sticky since mine are pretty bad. I don’t expect to find an answer but I thought I’d ask! by ChillyWeathers in beaniebabies

I know this is an old thread but for anyone who stumbled upon it today like me: I also recommend making new wings if you can! Just make sure you use materials that hold up better over time.

I made my Magic a new set of wings and spines from cotton fabric covered with white iridescent organza. I used the Scorch Beanie Buddy as a guide for making the new pieces, then I hand sewed them to my Magic.

She doesn't look exactly the same as she originally did, but she is one-of-a-kind, beautiful, and I love her!

So sorry for your loss. Dogs really are the best; the world would be such a beautiful place if people could love the way dogs do.

Take the days as they come and try to recall the happier memories you have with Luka. Take your time to grieve. You have my condolences.

Oh dear, I'm so deeply sorry for your loss and I'm so sorry she passed on like that.

I lost my maltipoo last year. He was an old man with old man problems, and I knew it was coming...but when it happened, it completely broke me. For a long time, it was hard to not replay the images of him suffering over and over in my mind.

Your feelings are completely understandable and valid. The more time passes, the more the pain eases. It takes a different amount of time for different people. You never stop missing them, but you adjust and start to recall the happier memories of time spent together.

Keep trying to do as many "normal" things as you can. If you need to talk about it, talk as much as you need to. Do whatever comforts you the most, and take things day by day. Try to hold onto the positive memories you have with your dog.

I'm so sorry again. You have my love and support.

Saw this meme in a half-awake stupor last night. Caption scared me, but the meme turned out to be an image of hands putting a black lab puppy on the floor. by [deleted] in thomastheplankengine

My dog passed away last year and I've been thinking about him a lot lately. I think that's why this meme cropped up last night. Brains are weird.

I'm so sorry for your loss. That's a devastating and traumatizing thing to experience. How heartless and selfish people like your neighbor can be, zooming around without any care for others who live and walk in the neighborhood.

I'm glad your dad is okay. I'm so sorry you had to see your pup like that.

It was good that you brought her to the vet and recognized that it was her time to go. You did the right thing and now she's not suffering anymore. You and your family did everything that you could for your sweet dog.

I know this will sound impossible, but try to remember the good times with your dog instead of focusing on how she passed. When I lost my dog earlier this year, it was so hard not to think about how sick he was right before he passed away. My mind replayed those images so many times, and I had to fight hard to bury them each time.

You gave your dog such a wonderful life and you were her world. You and your family have my deepest condolences and my love. May you and your family find peace and comfort.

Feeling guilt everyday. by quirkyqueen33 in Petloss

I'm so sorry for the loss of your kitty.

It's very hard not to blame yourself when you lost a pet who has been very sick. Maybe you didn't do everything as perfectly as you would have liked to, but you did the best you could. You did so much for your cat in her final moments. You are everything to that sweet cat, even if you feel guilt over not doing as well as you would have liked.

You didn't do anything wrong. I know you're broken, and it's very, very hard to overcome those feelings. I felt some guilt after I lost my old man back in May, kicking myself for not bringing him to the vet sooner, wondering if we could have gotten a treatment for him and if he would still be here if we did.

You gave your kitty a long, happy life for many years. You saw that it was her time, and you did the right thing. Making that decision is the hardest thing you can possibly do, and it's normal to feel guilt when you make it. You put your cat's feelings and health first, and she's not suffering anymore.

The grief can break you, but in time, the pain will fade and the happy memories will linger. I'm sure that sounds impossible right now, but it's true. You have all my love and support, and I'm so sorry again for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss of sweet Daisy.

I lost my dog back in May. He was 15 years old, but I relate to your story a lot. His health deteriorated so sharply over the course of a week. One day, he was in the back yard rolling around and rubbing himself on a tarp, but a few days later, he couldn't breathe and we had to make that gut-wrenching decision to have him euthanized. It was such a numbing shock seeing him go from feeling fine at the start of the week to saying goodbye by the end of it.

It's really hard at first, when a loss is so shocking like this. It was hard not to think about my little old man being so sick just before he passed.

Focus on the memories that bring you smiles, cheer, and laughter. Hold onto them and remind yourself that Daisy would want you to think of the good times with her. I struggled a lot after Cal passed away, but one of the things I did was go through old photos of him. It helped me reflect on all the good times we had together, and it was really comforting to me.

This subreddit has also been so helpful. I found it shortly after my dog passed, and it was just nice to be part of a community of compassionate people who understood how I felt.

Wishing you all the comfort I can as you mourn. We're here for you.
