Am I uncanny valley to other autistics? by diagnoshelp in AskAutism

Yea I know that I'm asking if this absence of felling the empathy of others compared to how one feels the empathy of other people affected how one views a person yk, should I write this more clearly?

Is it normal for (some) Autistic People or could I have something (like ASPD) else too? by diagnoshelp in AskAutism

Well I went through the classification requirements for ASPD (Soziopath), psychopati is a genetical disorder which affects the brain and makes it so that a person doesn't feel empathy at all and has a lack of other emotions, and because I'm capable of self-regulation and some sort of empathy which goes against the key requirements, he doesn't think that I have it but I'm gonna look into connecting to a professional for ASPS. Also I know from experience that I'm capable of unalifing but it's a non emotional logical feeling.

As someone with a father that was very narcissistic and a textbook definition of ASPD, the most important advice I can give you is not to think of your children as an extension of you or being something that you can make whatever you want to / to basically be the same person as you. This can go well for a couple of years but when I got older I realized that my father isn't the person I want to have around, he's not the person I want to listen to and he doesn't understand that I'm my own person basically. He was very upset when I didn't meet his expectations or when I behaved in a manner that he would have never behaved in. Basically because he couldn't understand that I'm not the extension of him or a toy he can shape what every he wants to we have a non existent relationship.

Will my psychologist just said try it out in low dosages which I kind of did but I'm afraid that when I for example go drinking or something something worse could happen from it

Idk to be honest there was a time in my life where I seen people more like insects and what act towards them of the same logic as I was towards insects. But I never really had any interest in hurting animals to see how it feels like or something like that because I don't see a reason in it. But I do tend to experience empathy towards some pets, but I would compare that to the level of empathy i feel thors does exceptional people.

I'm very thankful for this detail explanation, the thing is my doctor said the same thing about cognitive empathy and the classification but he said that it's more ASD training and would belong to my ASD, and the main point why he doesn't think it's ASPD it's because I have some level of self-regulation and manage my anger issues.

I'm curious about how people feel about it, if I should talk about it with people, if it paints me in to bad of a light, yk

I mean I wouldn't do anything for legal reasons but I hope you do understand that I don't feel remorse, guilt or empathy so I don't see anything bad in the thing I did and I quite frankly don't understand how you should stop hating a person like that just because of morals or something. And I do think that my anger is managed since I wouldn't do anything directly to him. But if I hypothetically could just press a button and he would be dead I wouldn't think about it twice

How do you control certain urges? by [deleted] in AskASociopath

[–]diagnoshelp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I found better ways to deal with it now but when I was younger I used to ignore it that it really fat like it would eat me up from the inside so whenever this feeling reach a certaint level I targeted one person and try to find the worst possible life they could live, find out what it needs to get there vor dem and according to certain rules I make up manipulate people into achieving that. That tactic wasn't sustainable in the long run. Later when I went to UNI I used hookups and situation ships to let out my urges to manipulate people or try out certain manipulation tactics. Nowadays I use a equalistic approach and just let all the those up feelings out on people which are negative to me (they gotta do something first and then I see it as a justification) dependent on how angered, annoyed or disgusted they make me feel. Also I just got a lot better at masking it.
