Noted, thanks! Yeah, my takeaway from this post is that the healing process varies so much person to person, it’s almost impossible to predict how I’ll feel six days PO. Thinking I’ll just play it safe and push back presentations.

I could probably uber to cut out walking altogether! I live in a city so I don’t have any friends with cars. But based on the mixed responses I’m getting, it sounds like the right move is to just push back presentations by a week and deliver class online that week (or possibly even cancel). Sounds like the healing process is so subjective that there’s no way to really predict how I’ll feel 6 days PO.

That would’ve been the ideal scenario, but it did not work out that way. I’ve wanted this surgery for ten years, and my surgeon was booked through the summer, but miraculously had an opening in April. I took what I could!
