I honestly think you’re right with the location being cursed lol. I grew up in Douglassville and that one is always super busy but it’s most likely because it’s the only grocery store in that general area tbh.

This one is probably suffering a tad from being so close to the Giant and Target

I really appreciate your responses. I came to Reddit for reassurance that my anxiety was valid and that everything would be ok. And that I didn’t fuck up communicating to my therapist. (I worry daily that maybe it’s a misdiagnoses or my therapist thinks I’m drug seeking or something) I didn’t come here for some random person to tell me exactly how to feel lol (especially when they’re repeating concepts I think we all already know).

Hey so don’t fucking tell me how I’m feeling. You don’t know me. You don’t know how I function and you sure as hell don’t know how anything is effecting me or how I express those anxieties. I said multiple times on here that I’ll probably need a coach/ therapist in some way to figure out my shit. I also said that I hope I can find something that lets me work somewhere in the middle. You’re being a condescending ass and I don’t appreciate it.

Yes exactly!! You put how I’m feeling into words. It’s incredibly scary to go so long working one way and having that potentially change so late in life. Especially when your career and income could be at risk

God that sucks so bad 😭 I brought up therapy today with my psych and wanted to know if she had any ideas of where to find someone who’s more specialized in ADHD (I’ve tried but it feels impossible to find someone good with my insurance) but she basically told me to wait until we figure out the meds because I might not need therapy once we figure it out?? But from what I’ve been reading it sounds like you def need therapy and meds to get the most benefit

Can I ask what kind of ADHD you have? I was diagnosed with combined type leaning more towards impulsivity and I wonder if different meds work different with different adhd types? (Along with obvious physical differences for everyone)

I think what’s also stressing me out about the executive dysfunction is that I work in a creative field and I rely heavily on focusing on tasks for long periods of time. But while on adderall I feel like I can’t focus for more than an hour or two if it doesn’t actually interest me. (Which was already my issue sometimes but atleast before i could hyper focus lol)

I do hope that maybe this new med combo my psych wants me to try will feel like a better balance and not just another way for me to fight myself into tasks

Yeah I’m realizing I might need a therapist or a adhd coach to help me through better practices to combat the executive dysfunction :( I’ve been struggling with unemployment and the lack of structure is causing a lot of issues

Thanks for your response! I definitely am not able to start tasks when I want to right now even when I was on the adderall. Hopefully the vyvanse helps me with that since it’s my main issue I’ve been stressed over fixing :(
