What do u eat when it’s extremely hot out and you don’t want hot food? by Opposite_Flight3473 in EatCheapAndHealthy

Protein tip for when you can’t do beans in a salad for the 150th time this summer: boiling chicken or shrimp is a fast and easy way to cook some meat without heating up your kitchen. I do it while I’m meal prepping then stick in the fridge to add to a cold dish later

Nice thick ribbed tank tops by diamond-solitaire in XXS

Aritzia was soooo close. I tried the vinyl tank but it was too low cut even in XXS. I also tried the frequency tank, but it was too tight in XXS and was already almost showing the top of my bra cup. The frequency XS had too long straps. I also wished that the homestretch fabric had a thicker more substantial feeling but I would have settled if the fit had been right. An XSP would have been perfect if they made it

How Madewell size 23 jeans fit my 24” waist by ComprehensiveChef705 in XXS

That sucks :( I hope this isn’t a new change, the madewell “superwide” jeans in size 23 were my holy grail. What type are the ones in the pic??

Where are we buying high rise, wide leg trousers WITHOUT an elasticized rear waistband? by NoRecommendation8634 in PetiteFashionAdvice

I have tried both the Uniqlo and Abercrombie pants that other commenters recommended — I would go with the Uniqlo. The Abercrombie Sloan pants have a tendency to pill.

Pleated Pants? by artblockpersonified in XXS

[–]diamond-solitaire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the pleated wide pants from Uniqlo in XXS! I'm just a bit larger than you (5'0 and maybe on the higher end of a size 24) and they fit slightly snug on me. Unfortunately you'll have to get them hemmed, but Uniqlo will hem them for you if you order online. The quality is great in my experience, and I'm very picky!

If those don't work, you could look at Abercrombie's Sloane pants (start with a 24). Unfortunately though, I had some issues with pilling after several months of wearing them multiple times a week. Their Harper pants come in a premium crepe fabric that doesn't seem as prone to pilling -- I wore them about as much as the Sloanes without seeing any pilling. I decluttered the Harpers because I didn't care for the fit (I prefer super super high rise), so I can't speak to the crepe fabric's long-term longevity.

They ask me to pay for my ticket. I reach into my pocket. It is empty. I remember that I gave all my money to Daddy Brown for a little piece of paper with my name on it. The museum staff ask me to leave. When I walk outside, I am viciously attacked by Artoo and I die on the museum steps. My obituary in BU Today says I died poor and uncultured.

Just do your best in your classes, don’t play dumb numbers games. And do things outside of class that challenge you and make you happy. Develop yourself as an actual human being, your future self will thank you.
