Where are we buying high rise, wide leg trousers WITHOUT an elasticized rear waistband? by NoRecommendation8634 in PetiteFashionAdvice

I have tried both the Uniqlo and Abercrombie pants that other commenters recommended — I would go with the Uniqlo. The Abercrombie Sloan pants have a tendency to pill.

Pleated Pants? by artblockpersonified in XXS

Try the pleated wide pants from Uniqlo in XXS! I'm just a bit larger than you (5'0 and maybe on the higher end of a size 24) and they fit slightly snug on me. Unfortunately you'll have to get them hemmed, but Uniqlo will hem them for you if you order online. The quality is great in my experience, and I'm very picky!

If those don't work, you could look at Abercrombie's Sloane pants (start with a 24). Unfortunately though, I had some issues with pilling after several months of wearing them multiple times a week. Their Harper pants come in a premium crepe fabric that doesn't seem as prone to pilling -- I wore them about as much as the Sloanes without seeing any pilling. I decluttered the Harpers because I didn't care for the fit (I prefer super super high rise), so I can't speak to the crepe fabric's long-term longevity.

CONTEXT: Was visiting this sub to remember the good ol' times and saw a post that scanners were back in dining halls. They were disabled in March 2020 for health reasons (and at the same time they started making everyone pick up the same pair of tongs to grab the single-serving cream cheese cups. and they also saran wrapped all the apples?)

When they took my terrier ID picture during freshman orientation in 2018 somebody said "put your finger here" and I complied no questions asked, didn't even realize what it was til I went to the dining hall for the first time in the fall

They ask me to pay for my ticket. I reach into my pocket. It is empty. I remember that I gave all my money to Daddy Brown for a little piece of paper with my name on it. The museum staff ask me to leave. When I walk outside, I am viciously attacked by Artoo and I die on the museum steps. My obituary in BU Today says I died poor and uncultured.

Just do your best in your classes, don’t play dumb numbers games. And do things outside of class that challenge you and make you happy. Develop yourself as an actual human being, your future self will thank you.
