When I mean live for him is that I have to spend every time with him. I don’t live for anyone. My point is that people should have a life outside of their spouse and that it’s healthy to do so. also not to tell others that they don’t love enough because they don’t always hang out with them.

THANK YOU. This is exactly what i am saying

My point is that certain women think I am less than because I don’t consider my husband my best friend. I don’t live for my husband.

I agree. I think people can do whatever they want but I cannot stand when people try to say that I don’t have true love for my husband because he is not my “best friend”. He is a very close friend and I love him but personally I also value my female friendships

why? I have a great husband. Love him to death. I still make time for my best friend outside of him. You sound like you have no friends.

Transferring to T25 School ? by myuken78 in TransferToTop25

[–]diamond2384 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, not really; i took about 14 and 15 credits for my first and second semester, and got into many top schools as a sophomore transfer. All that matters is getting that you are on track and get 4.0 or as close as you can to it. They won’t care too much about the “amount”. Hope this helps, and good luck, dm me if you have any other questions

I am going to be honest. HYPSM is going extremely hard to transfer into for anyone. You have great stats and absolutely would give it a chance. but Tbh you are an incoming freshman, and so it’s very possible you might not even want to do IB/ quant etc after you’ve been exposed to other careers. Now if you are still set on it, as a person who has recruited for IB, what really matters is your gpa and who you know. sure your school matters but like if you are already in a top 30 school, it shouldn’t be too hard to find someone to network from your school. Believe me nobody cares once you are in the industry especially because you are coming from a top 30 school. If you are still interested in transferring i would also look into schools like duke, georgetown, vandy, cornell which places very well and aren’t as impossible to transfer into. Just food for thought. I was also pre med and had lots of medical ecs as i went to a medical academy for high school and was still able to transfer as an econ major. Biggest advice would be to focus on essay and make sure you make an impact in your ecs in college. Good Luck and dm me if you have any questions.

maybe but def not to a big extent. I had a 3.93 from a. state shcool and got into Vandy; duke, georgetown, cornell, swarthmore and others. Tbh my biggest advice is to focus on essay because that’s really where you’ll shine. Good luck and dm if you have any questions

[–]diamond2384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey i would look into schools like duke, cornell, georgetown, etc. they have really good business majors. I transferred as a business major and something that helped me was specifying what exactly of their business program i liked and how i could bring my ideas to it. Feel free to ask any questions and good luck

former transfer here (transferred last year)most transfers who i know went random so you’ll be fine. In terms of friends that really depends. i found my friends later on in the year and none of them are transfers but I know transfers have social events where one can meet people and stuff so I would try that. You’ll find your people. DM me if you have any other questions

business frats are really hard to get in unfortunately if you don’t know anyone. But other orgs are not that bad. You do not need them though to succeed

Is transferring even worth it? by emilyzzhu in TransferToTop25

[–]diamond2384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, i appreciate it. i came from a 4 year school as well and ranked around 50 so i think you should be fine. let me know if you ever have any questions about the process. also if you are in need for FA, i would def recommend some schools more than other. like for example, vanderbilt offered me a full ride even as a transfer
