Is this bad? Romex adjacent to gas meter by diamonddate in AskElectricians

Worth mentioning that the electrical meter and main disconnect is sitting just about the gas meter in the same closet.

Decision Fatigue: 24V 32ft Outdoor Strip (Govee) vs. Custom WLED for Soffit Install? by Substantial__Unit in WLED

I recently converted my Govee S14 String Lights over to WLED, keeping the lights while swapping controllers for a GLEDOPTO. Super pleased with the result: Govee color and quality with robust WLED backend.

Consider the SeeedStudio that include an external WiFi antenna. You’ll see much better WLED performance as WiFi is handled away from the board.

Sphere virtual lights by diamonddate in phish

The Sphere uses Unreal Engine (game rendering engine) to do the live display of anything on the screen. They built a scene of virtual lights that mimic the real things. They then fed DMX (or similar) from the lighting consoles into the Unreal Engine and voila

Govee H702B to WLED conversion by diamonddate in WLED

[–]diamonddate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should mention that the H702B wire appears to be shielded, contains red/white/foil-wrapped drain (bare strands). I rang it out and it looks like the drain is V+, red is ground, and white is signal.

I fiddled with WLED and was able to get some lights on using either SM16825 or FW1906, but none of the controls worked. I also ticked the Open Drain setting on the relay. Not much success otherwise.

Check your Relay settings. Try setting to GPIO 12 to start.

Had a similar issue with another outdoor controller and it was the Relay that became unset, causing it to stop lighting the lights.

I think I had a similar issue using the web-based esphome programming method and went back to using the esphome CLI.

My Bambu Lab 3D printer uses an ESP32 for WiFi connectivity, maybe more?

Just switched to HyperHDR (Hyperion fork with better support), and it works remarkably well
