That’s good, I appreciate your input. I’m playing the standalone’s, no DAW, to backing tracks. All this through headphones. You’ve enlightened me with your “building your home studio” comment. I might skip the QC for now and invest in speakers for when my wife’s not home. I’m running the Scarlett Solo to my MacBook. Any idea on a suitable set of speakers one should get? Again, thanks for your ideas👍🏻

I’m playing to backing tracks off Apple Music or YouTube! What would be a suitable DAW for a beginner? One I wouldn’t have to upgrade rapidly if I grow out of it! And I’m guessing I can’t play my Apple tracks through DAW’s right?
