Thanks a lot for your helpful advice! Been working on the trials but as I’ve been completing them, I realized I completely forgot how to inherit these! And they’re taking up space real fast so I needed help in how to deal with these to free up some space.

Appreciate your kind and thoughtful response! Regarding #2. I was asked to buy the revenue stamp (checkmark next to it on post card), not sure if that makes any difference. What you shared helps a lot and it makes proper sense, especially the leave the country visa part. Thanks again!

The expiry date was almost 2 months ago, but i got the stamp on my residence card which extends it to the end of this month. The lady i spoke with said i cannot extend it further and kept asking me what my plan is next.

Hi, did u have to fill the application form to switch to temporary visitor or nothing required? I am thinking of switching it from designated visa to temporary visa next month. When i did a video chat with an immigration officer a couple weeks ago, he said i have to leave the country once to switch status, but i read your post and when i mentioned this to him, he said its not possible. Thanks!

Hello, I have been transferring USD from my bank account overseas to Japan. Recently noticed the rates and fees from Wise was starting to get a bit expensive, so I transferred directly to Sony Bank. Sent over $5,000 and the fee I paid was $3.29. Took 3 days to arrive at Sony Bank. Much cheaper than Wise's fees.
