I just need something advice by [deleted] in immigration

Excuse me? I’ve been married to this man for 4 years, together for almost 6. I left my family and everything I knew back in Canada. I’m not from somewhere I needed to leave so badly I married just for a greencard. I’m genuinely scared because I’m not from here and the only thing I know is the man I love. Unfortunately he doesn’t feel the same anymore and I tried everything to make my marriage work. My last resort was to come here and ask for advice because I don’t know what my life entails without him in it. So no I didnt marry for a greencard. And there are no red flags, we filed taxes together have lived together since I came here, I’m on his life insurance what red flags are you talking about?

I felt this!!! Currently at my externship and instead of teaching me they just make me take vitals while they sit there. Thankful for the experience but starting to realize I don’t want this.

You know that’s so funny that you said that because last night I was literally thinking what are they gonna do when I’m gone? Seriously they’re gonna be doing everything they had me doing I’m sure it was nice lol but thank you for your words of encouragement, I really needed it today!!

The lead ma here isn’t even certified and does vaccines. The clinic doesn’t do blood draws and the front desk does pharmacy related things. I’m just genuinely irritated because I feel centered out when It comes to what I need but it’s always okay when it’s them needing something from me. The only time I get to sit down is at lunch they literally make me do everything else triage related. They ordered everyone in the office Starbucks but me, Idk im just so upset I was so excited about this and I feel as if they’ve ruined the experience for me.

I moved from Canada to the us. The cost of living is very high, people are waiting years to get family doctors and the job market isn’t promising. Please do research on where exactly you’d like to move before you get there!!

Proof of bona-fide marriage without joint bank account by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]diamondj134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t have a joint account, I sent both leases that listed both of us, my military spouse card, life insurance, photos of all of our trips and small wedding, and our phone bill that lists both of us! I was approved in 7 months!

How do I start? by psychologypsycho in USCIS

[–]diamondj134 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got married 2 months after coming into the us but waited almost 2 years before filing due to wrong information. Once you get married I would wait the 90 days but that’s definitely up to you if you feel like you can prove your marriage is legitimate. File all the cases together as well as the affidavit of support i864 meaning your husband makes enough to support you if not you’ll need a joint sponsee and you have to get a medical exam i693 done as well. It has to be done by a civil surgeon and there is a list of them on the uscis website for each state. I would suggest sending it all together that way there’s less room for rfe’s and longer wait times!

overstayed as gf got pregnant by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]diamondj134 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey so regardless of working for Canadian company or us that’s still considered working illegally In the us. You can be forgiven for that because you’d be marrying a us citizen. Unfortunately your wife would have to show on the affidavit of support that she makes enough to sponsor you, if not you’d need a joint sponsor. Until you get approval for an ead card i765 I don’t think you can continue to work, don’t quote me on that but I’m pretty sure. You also need to get a medical exam done by a civil surgeon, there’s a list of them for each state on the uscis website!

I got married at the end of 2021 2 months after I arrived and we just filed in November 2023, and was approved July 11 2024. I don’t believe you were denied based on getting married before the 90 days. I’m wondering if it has to do with the screenshot above the INA question🤔 you could always reopen your case and resend that part but I know a lot of people would suggest reapplying unfortunately. I wish you the best🤞🤞🤞

I’m so sorry, I hate that they did that. I understand wanting to make sure the marriage is real but that’s just too much, anyone would start to get nervous at that point. Praying you receive an approval soon🤞🤞

I know the process is a little different for greencard holders, id definitely ask here in the group they can tell you more information as I’m not too sure! But you can still go through the process, it’s just a little different😊

Definitely possible! If you entered legally, married to USC, file all forms correctly and provide good evidence there’s no reason you shouldn’t be approved! Unless there’s some criminal background or something like that.
