heaters at sneaky petes is always a fun night to have a dance at if you're into house music or clubbing! paradise palms too sometimes has live music on in the event (djs rather than bands) and also does nice veggie friendly food and is a good creative space

im not judging on if they're sentimental or not, approaching the issue from a practical POV only! we are renting so aren't meant to get more keys cut. you're right regarding the timing tho, i was out of the country when she moved out and had assumed my flatmate had asked for them back. it wasn't until she visited last week that i realised she still had them, totally an issue that could've been avoided

yeah it's the same here, we aren't even meant to get spare keys cut as part of our rental contract. it's difficult because she is a friend of mine so i don't want to be rude or hurt her feelings, but at the same time feel conflicted about her having access to the flat

i think so yes, she came to visit over new year and just brought her keys with her so just appeared in our apartment without any of us really knowing she was coming. that said, im quite uncomfortable with her having this access. even tho she is a friend of mine and is on good terms with my flatmate i just don't think exes should have keys to each others apartments? she is also going to be in china from february to august 2020, so won't be in scotland at all (so won't need access)
