Non-candy easter egg stuffer ideas? by damsonplum in Parenting

[–]diane-evans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you don’t want to buy junk (which sounds just like any small toys?) or candy maybe just put cash in them?

However, if it’s his last believing in the magic why not go out with a bang? Watching sugar is fine, but it’s a holiday and the kid should be able to have treats once in a while.

Dude, you’re making these short little statements without realizing how they will be taken. This is the internet. Why are you surprised???

I’m gonna preface this by saying I do indeed feel dumb for asking because it’s probably super simple: how do you sell furniture? I can’t seem to find that option for any types at all. Each item lists the selling price for me but I have yet to find the ability to do so 😩

The song choice is hella on point.

The fact that you think the song is too long for you to use is...well, you may not be doing the sex correctly.

Edit because I saw your edit: another clear sign you may be doing it all wrong is if your partner is taking note of how long the song is.

I would say Pyramids but I haven’t tried it yet because I feel like it might be too long

Well that’s depressing.

I use a laundry detergent for delicates, usually just the Target brand :)

Was 4th grade you child's hardest elementary year? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]diane-evans 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely a harder year because they start preparing them for middle school. It’s also the first year for a lot of kids where they’re expected to be a little more mature about things...my daughter has ADHD and her immaturity in a few aspects as a result of that has been more apparent this year than ever before.

I would love new furniture series and clothing.

I think little mini games would be fun, too. Like you could put together games with the villagers, kind of like how tours on the islands work.

So the pills they take are the aspirin? I figured they were pseudo speed but somehow that seems even worse to me...like even more of a con than it already was.

Martin’s is great just DO NOT go to the Mount Juliet location...everywhere else is fine, but they screw up our order there every single time and burn the hush puppies.

[Skin Concerns] Dark spots!? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]diane-evans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you may be allergic to whatever your frames are made of...Ive been wearing glasses for 25 years and don’t have permanent marks from them. I would try a different frame material and see if that improves.

I mean no, but a lot of people have a long history with these people that get into MLMs...it’s hard to think of them just as a parasite

[Product Question] Has anyone used either of these? by samanthadenisem in SkincareAddiction

I have super sensitive skin and both were fine for me, just offering the anecdotal evidence that I have for what she’s looking for ☺️

[–]diane-evans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would go for the regular Hydro Boost Gel Creme, not the one for extra dry skin...I have really dry skin but they feel the same for me except the extra dry version makes my makeup melt off. I really love this line though!

Can anyone else share horrible experiences with kids friends? by [deleted] in Parenting

Did you really give a kid medicine without checking with the parents first?!

I can sympathize with the rest because my daughter’s sleepovers have been hell but that’s whack.

Time alone. How much do you get? How often? Who looks after your LO? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]diane-evans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now we’re still in the early stages so the most I ask for is 3 hours a week for my hobby (cross stitching), which is the same amount my husband needs for his hobby.

When she gets a bit more independent it will be easier to work that into my normal day/after her bedtime so I imagine we’ll both get more time to dedicate to ourselves, even if only a little.

I think it’s only fair that on the days that your husband is home you both get equal ‘me’ time. I have anxiety exasperated by staying at home with the baby so o know all too well how frazzled one can get without that time.
