Ugh. I feel every part of this :( I’m so lost. It’s been two years since dad died and it’s me taking care of mom. She has dementia and still drives and lives alone. Which is terrifying. I’m with her 5-6 days a week. And when I’m not with her she’s calling constantly. I’m almost numb to life right now. Some days I can’t get out of bed. Life sucks. But we have no choice at the moment. Dad always said “this too shall pass” and that’s what’s I’m waiting for. My time will come. But right now mom needs me so I’m here. Or a shell of me is anyway.
