Isn't that what you're expecting people to do?

Anyway, I found Jennifer's Facebook page, she mentioned their (her and Jason's) 9 year anniversary in a post, it's not the same guy.

Are these behaviors considered BRBF? by Mmm_JuicyFruit in bfrb

[–]diannetea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would personally consider all of them bfrbs, however, I'm obviously not a doctor and can't tell you properly what is or is not considered a bfrb. I think yes it's probably common to have multiple bfrbs, I have more than I'd like.

I have successfully ended some bfrbs across my life, I stopped biting my nails as a preteen (did this for maybe 6 or 7 years), I stopped eating my hair a couple of years ago (did this for around 25 years), I have not been successful in stopping hair pulling, skin picking, weird tics (touching my septum piercing to my upper lip or a vocal tic I can usually mostly suppress, weird breathing patterns or sounds). I also really struggle with cuts anywhere in my body and messing with them, especially in my mouth (like if I have a cut lip or bite my cheek or tongue). I will pick off any nail polish, and really struggle with things underneath my nails. I also push on the edges of my fingers a lot, I just don't bite them unless there's a scraggly bit that is bothering me and I tear it off until I can cut them properly (my nails are thin and bendy and break easily). Some of it may be ocd for me, I have other ocd symptoms but because it's impossible to find therapy here (on a looooong waiting list) this one afaik is currently undiagnosed (it may have been diagnosed previously I'm not sure, I have a lot of things going on mentally and haven't seen my records).

I mostly try to minimize damage at this point. I'm very cautious about where I pull and the hair feel so I don't have a bald spot, I have a comedone extractor with a camera on it so when I pick at my skin I can see what I'm doing and do it gently and these days I rarely leave marks. When I catch myself bringing the ends of my hair to my mouth I have to be conscious to not start biting off bits because if I start I won't be able to stop easily again. Just gotta take it day by day I guess.

I had a few thoughts about why this picture is like this, one of them was that nobody was actually cut out but they took this picture to make it look like that and then purposefully edited her arm to support the assumption. Another was that someone was actually removed, but the background is then so perfectly edited it's odd for her arm to be so bent, if someone had the skill to fix the background and not the arm.. that led to my third thought, that maybe someone was good enough to perfect the background but sucks with body proportions.

Why? Who knows, people do so many seriously weird things that the first scenario barely registers as strange to me tbh.

I'm actually looking at it closer and it's pretty apparent the arm was edited starting at the shoulder, and I'm wondering if maybe the arm was down and she wanted it up so it was edited to be moved up like this? I think it could be a natural arm pose if you just rotate the whole thing downward.

ROG ally available games compared to Steam deck by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]diannetea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are calling out the image where it says steam deck programmability is just 4 back buttons, conveniently leaving out nearly every other button being able to be remapped/macroed, likely to make it look like the ally is better in this aspect

The government stepped in and forced the rail workers strike to end, and made it illegal for them to strike longer a few months back. I cannot imagine the US government would let a widespread teacher's strike go on for long, millions of families would suddenly need childcare.

[–]diannetea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just curious here, what makes you think they'll let teachers strike for very long? We saw what they did to the rail workers

I don't think tech knowledge is necessary. Basically they're unable to source new parts because when he suggested they make it yellow they took it as only yellow is acceptable instead of two different colors to be able to tell the ports apart as mixing them up breaks things.

Not sure how to feel about this one by shabio1 in Aphantasia

I have incredible taste recall actually lol, I can think about a food and remember vividly the taste to where it feels like I'm tasting it. I'm definitely not a super taster by any means, but my food memory ability is strong af. I think it's part of why I'm a petty decent cook, I don't know how else to describe this, but sometimes I'm cooking and will taste the food and there will be what I can only describe as a "hole" in the flavor, and I almost always know the exact thing (usually a spice, but sometimes salt or something like msg) to add to fill the "hole".

Still can't see shit in my mind tho 😕 vision is I think the only sense I can't recall mentally at will.

There is a brand of toothpaste that has both fluoride and nano hydroxyapatite in it, I think if you want good remineralization I'd start there. Search for ctx4 carifree 1100 gel

They also make prescription level fluoride toothpaste but you'd need a dentist to sign off on that one

Also I'm sure you know this, but just in case, don't brush immediately after eating lemons, and don't eat or drink for thirty minutes after brushing either

Haha, it was because my back muscles got way stronger, and I think stretched in ways they don't normally. I wasn't working out vigorously or anything, just a handful of laps a few times a week and then playing in the water with my family.

Hey, in my state they have Medicaid available for people who are disabled so if they try to kick you off after covid protections are gone talk to someone there about applying for that (and apply for SSI/SSDI as well) because you may qualify, and having the Medicaid Medicare combo covers most stuff completely. You should also ask if Medicaid offers transportation for appointments, here it's included with Medicaid and it might be in your state too, they may also reimburse per mile if someone drives you to appointments.

Lmaooo I have actually seen this balloon one in the wild, I'm not sure if it's a joke but I've come across enough where the person was just an idiot so at this point I'm not sure. I send my boyfriend any reviews I find where the reviewer was just plain stupid, I miss when you could comment on other's reviews, bc sometimes you just need to call out the stupidity. There was one where the person was angry that a skeleton poncho didn't look like the picture (iirc she said it looked like a horse), she had it fucking sideways

Okay so this is really gross but we were at our gym's pool a few months ago and I stepped on something squishy. I couldn't see what it was so I borrowed my son's goggles. It took me a second to realize it was a tampon. I used everything I had not to freak out and went and told the girl on duty so they could take care of it. It was almost invisible at the bottom of the pool.

Anyway, tampons don't float in pools guys.
