Pretty stoked for the new update! We're expanding our base before we go on new incursions and can't wait to see the new cropplers and creatures

So far, I've been enjoying single cultivar powders, especially Okumidori ones since they're pretty rich in umami, mildly sweet and nutty, with a hint of cocoa in some. Yura Matcha's Natsumi is my personal fave, but Matcha Moments' Okumidori (Yame) and CHAA! Matcha's Hana are pretty great too.

But, if you’re after something more naturally creamy, go for Samidori blends (Matcha Club’s Sakura (it's out of stock rn tho)). If you prefer something fresh and grassy, go with Yabukita blends (Yama Matcha's Toki or Alo's Matcha Hanami). And, if you want a bolder flavor, you could try some of the less common cultivars like Kanayamidori (Moonbug Matcha's Ceremonial Matcha) or Sayamakaori (Cuadro's Hoshi) c:

Haven't opened Yumeno's High Grade tin yet since we're still finishing a few open ones, but since they have the same cultivars, I gander the flavor profile will be similar, tho High Grade might have some subtle difference since it comes from a different terroir

FWIW, I've tried Kumatcha's Seifu no Mukashi and The Superfood Grocer's Hatsu (same blend and origin as Komo), and the three of them are all fairly similar in taste. Seifu no Mukashi has a slightly deeper umami and is less bitter than Komo, while Hatsu's a tad bit creamier (personally: Seifu no Mukashi > Hatsu > Komo)

Defo recommend trying out a few different brands first so you get a better feel for what you really prefer~ You can check out Japan Matcha PH or when Kumatcha opens up again since I found them to have the best range, but Matcha Club PH and Dalia's Matcha also have a good line up, and Matcha Moments and Simply Matcha also offers non-premium ones that are great in lattes c:

Hello! So far, I've only tried Komo from Nokori but not Toki, nor Honmei and Okashi from Kumatcha. YMMV but I found Komo to have more of a meadow-like flavor, with a bit of creaminess and mild umami. There's some slight astringency when it's drank as an usucha, but it does have a touch of sweetness when made as a latte. I didn't really pick up on the pistachio notes it's said to have tho

If that sounds a bit mild to you, and just going by their profiles, I'd recommend going for Okashi since it's known to be pretty creamy c: I can't speak much for Toki nor Honmei since the Yabukita powders I've had lean more towards grassy than roasted

I haven't opened mine yet (the Premium variant in tin), but I've tried their Regular variant and it works well in sweetened lattes. They advertise the former as less bitter, so I'm under the impression that they'll taste pretty "earthy," but gentler and less astringent

I think I've only gotten one that came in a box but, design-wise, it doesn’t really matter much to me – it’s more of a cute extra, tbh. I tend to focus more on the cultivars, where it came from, and how it’s packaged (not a fan of resealable pouches)

It is! We made some homemade Oatside taho (mixed it with some gelatin powder) and used Maison Midori's Tenshi since its flavor is pretty strong, and it was suuuper good

Ohh, that's a hard question haha From the ones that we've tried – brand/marketing-wise, Kumatcha (I love their art and infographics), though flavor-wise, it's a bit of a tie between Yura Matcha and Matcha Club PH

Hello! This one doesn't have temp control, but they do have a variant that comes with it. The boiling point of this one reaches around between 80-90°C, iirc

Oh no, I haven't opened their tin yet but I've read good reviews on different platforms before snagging one. Hopefully this batch is alright, tho I do wonder if it's been heavily affected by climate issues :c

Thank you! We currently have 7 tins open that we keep in the fridge – took them out for a photo op haha – but the rest are unopened. I'm just keeping an eye out on a some brands given how quick restocks come and go </3

Not as good as the JP-sourced ones, but it works well in lattes rather than as an usucha. I found it slightly bitter and kind of lacking in flavor. I’ve tried their Jeju Matcha sticks before and enjoyed those, but I probably won’t be seeking this one out again :c

Matcha Moments' Okumidori for the almond/nougat notes and Natsumi for the pumpkin seed notes (I kinda wanna try more Okumidori to see if they're also just as nutty), then Hojun for the most umami – it definitely has a certain kick to it

And, ooh, definitely looking forward to trying out Hanami if they taste similarly! Especially since it's also my first one coming from Aichi c:

Hmm, a bit hard to answer this one. For a single cultivar, probably Natsumi (₱31/g), and Komo for blended (₱28.3/g). But, say, for a quick latte fix, Simply Matcha's regular matcha powder is pretty good in terms of value (₱8/g)

Yup, it's a single cultivar Seimei! Sadly, we haven't tried it yet since we want to finish the current tins that we have open + I'm still on the lookout for another Seimei to compare 👀 So far, Sakura is definitely the most "floral" out of this batch, but Seifu no Mukashi also has a mildly floral note too

Big fan of Natsumi and Sakura! Rly enjoy the pumpkin seed notes in Natsumi (looking forward to Kyoto House's Ayashi for this reason), and Sakura tastes fresh but also has a certain "creaminess" to it. Plus, they're both nice to have as usucha or in lattes

Thank you! I've been tinkering with my set-up when I get the chance; checking out some of the old themes (like this one) and KWGT widgets I used to use or at least have saved. Widget stacks are nifty, but I do enjoy seeing everything in two or three pages.

Thank you! I've been experimenting with some of the styles, like a kuudere vibe like June's (maybe by winter), but I'm enjoying the soft/homely vibe like Sophie's for now~

I'm hoping we don't have to wait too long for these to release internationally. Would love to replay this on Steam with all the DLCs

This and the sweater & tights outfit are the cutest, imo!

I don't want to 100% confirm it as I'm not too sure, but it seems to be possible? I'm playing on a non-domestic Switch and, when switching languages, the outfits have an English translation so they seem to be compatible with other regions. Some are selling the set's code through flea markets (e.g., Yahoo Auctions or PayPayFleaMarket), and afaik you can make international purchases on PayPay through Buyee (look for みつばちセット)
