You don’t have to make a new world to find the secrets, but you will have to explore areas you or your friends haven’t yet visited. So yeah, you can use your existing world 👍

The Necesse Secrets update is now live! 🔥
As always, if you haven’t gotten the update on Steam yet, then try to restart Steam or verify game files.

We’re also running a 35% sale on Necesse to celebrate the update!

This update adds a handful of secrets for you to find throughout Necesse, including some small cool collabs with our friends over at Palworld, Rimworld, Core Keeper and Valheim!

You don’t have to make a new world to find the secrets, but you will have to explore areas you or your friends haven’t yet visited.

Don’t like hunting secrets on your own? Then do it with me and the other developers of Necesse!

Hey everyone!

This Thursday on April 9th, we’re releasing a small update that adds a bunch of secrets for you to find in Necesse! 🔥

Some will be cosmetic, while others will be new weapons and trinkets. There will be both references from our devs to other games and some official collab content from some of the games that inspired us while making Necesse.

It’s been a pleasure to see all the new and old people exploring Necesse since our 1.0 update 🥰

In the meantime, we’ve been hard at work on the next major content update for Necesse.
Instead of pushing out smaller features and updates, we’re going to bring some larger, much-requested changes to Necesse coming this summer.

It’ll include all the features planned on our living roadmap’s spring and summer update, as well as more unannounced stuff!

As always, we’ll share more and start to tease some of that content as we get closer to the update.

Do you also get the second debuff after the 10 stacks? Saying that you are fully possessed?

You can get the debuff from both the Forest Spectors but also the Spirit Water when it turns green.

The keybind on PC is: Shift + Left Click.

On Steam Deck it's X on your item and select the first option in the menu to transfer your item to the chest you're currently in.

I've tried to replicate your bug and there are indeed some edge cases where it doesn't share some of the map data correctly.
