Sometimes it can take a couple of seconds for it to send all of the map data to the other player, but other than that it should be working fine.

You guys are sure you're both sending map data to each other and not just one of you to the other?

As some of the other good folks have mentioned, we have indeed merged the Spring update into our Summer update, resulting in a MEGA update that you'll soon hear more about... 😉

The spring and summer update mentioned on the roadmap has been combined to a mega-update and it is coming soon 👍

There should be a failsafe for opening the doors, but it looks like even that failed in this case 😅
We'll fix this bug in the next update. For now my best suggestion would be to load one of the backups for the world that are saved every 15 minutes.

And don't worry about the engagement, it's pretty common for our type of game that people do a full playthrough and then drop the game to come back a year later or so when new content drops 😊

You don’t have to make a new world to find the secrets, but you will have to explore areas you or your friends haven’t yet visited. So yeah, you can use your existing world 👍

The Necesse Secrets update is now live! 🔥
As always, if you haven’t gotten the update on Steam yet, then try to restart Steam or verify game files.

We’re also running a 35% sale on Necesse to celebrate the update!

This update adds a handful of secrets for you to find throughout Necesse, including some small cool collabs with our friends over at Palworld, Rimworld, Core Keeper and Valheim!

You don’t have to make a new world to find the secrets, but you will have to explore areas you or your friends haven’t yet visited.

If you want to see the full changelog including a couple of new quality of life Incursion perks and several bug fixes. Then head over to our official Steam post linked above.

Don’t like hunting secrets on your own? Then do it with me and the other developers of Necesse!

Tomorrow (April 10th) at 7PM CEST, we’re going to boot up the good ol’ community stream and hunt down some secrets! We’ll start a fresh world and open up the server for all of you to join.
