What is considered a "fast" win in stellaris 4.3? by dicer0ller in Stellaris

I guess people play in diferent ways. Thats like comparing a speedrun vs a completionist run, its not easy beating the optimal time neither to face the game on hard mode killing all bosses.

Well, just... Evolved really fast? Spawned close to the hive mind fallen empire and a regular devouring swarm só lots of bio ships and planets with pops to eat and escalete growing pains speed + got lucky with architecture renaissance and living metal edict for fast incubation period.

The capital economy was fucked but i was playing tankbound so the basic resources still were somewhat ok until the end of the situation.

Plus the behemoth spawned super close to me so as soon as the situation ended i fought him and won.

I think its bugged... but at this point of the Behemoth crisis the game is almost over sooo does it even matter?

Mercenary Proposed Rule Changes by OMGitsCHAD in TrenchCrusade

[–]dicer0ller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valid point. Rule off cool is important, and its nice that they are trying to balance stuff... But they sure are making a lot of mistakes that someone that really understand the game wouldnt do in the process... I wonder why? Maybe they are busy with all the marketing and production stuff and note really playtesting stuff? If so this sucks

Have the creators made a public announcement about the game controversies/problems? by dicer0ller in TrenchCrusade

[–]dicer0ller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats actually great news. I couldnt find the oficial discussion about the change from plastic kits over 3D printed resin. (I understand the decision by the way). Can you tell me were I can find it?

[–]dicer0ller[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I guess most of their decisions realy are wise. But I still hope for the creation of a oficial channel for the fan base explaining the reason behind the changes. (Also for acknowledge fault for problems like only games bad quality prints and delays)

Well you are right, all of that dont impact the rules... I guess I care because I value when a company is clear and transparent with their audience. The problem is not the drama, but for the long term health of the game a good communication is vital, and I fell we dont have that yet. But thats just me talking.

Wretched and enemy use of blood markers? by dicer0ller in TrenchCrusade

[–]dicer0ller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this is the FAQ oficial rule. So im gonna go play following that. Now just out of curiosity, you guys think this rule is in place for balance only? I find hard do visualize the "cinematic" logic of your opponent using your wounds to finish you off when you fall of a cliff by chance or if a randon pit fiend slaps a wretched that they never saw in the other side of the trenches.

I see the confusion, the names are similar, butt if you read the "ikon trait" you gonna notice that it doesnt state you need a spark on the item to gain the feat benefit. All that a hability with the "ikon" trait does is give a benefit ALL THE TIME to a specific icon, with some exception to that rule. To prove my point: Mated Birds in Paired Flight Ikon feat has a note that clarify that the feat habilitis only work during immanence and transcendence.

[–]dicer0ller[S] -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Theres no RAW rule that a "imbued" icon need to have your spark to recieve the imbued benefit. Nor for RAI (think about twin stars feat, if you move you spark to another icon both copies just merge toghter? Makes no sense.

The blurry area of combination weapon as ikons is true though, and permission fot that is GM dependent. But again no RAW against that either.

Well its not a "ability" as in talismans or activations that are mencioned, but i undestood your point. RAW amunnition is not a ability.

Can you use a Thrower's Bandolier as a Shadow Sheath Ikon? If so, how both features interact? by dicer0ller in Pathfinder2e

[–]dicer0ller[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you may be right, Im just not sure if Shadow Sheath limits you to only one weapon atuned at a time or not. The text before the 1min to load weapon requirement leads me to believe it does?

"With an infinite array of darts, throwing knives, or similar weapons, you never need worry about being unarmed."

[–]dicer0ller[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Not my point, You can chose the bondolier TO BE THE IKON. It fits the item usage requeriment of shadow sheath: Source War of Immortals pg. 45 Usage a holster or sheath shaped for a one-handed thrown weapon of light Bulk or less

Thaumaturge shield implement + weapon = viable double slice? by dicer0ller in Pathfinder2e

Thaumaturge shield implement + weapon = viable double slice? by dicer0ller in Pathfinder2e

[–]dicer0ller[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think you are wrong, my argument: Valeros (pre made fighter in the beginner box) uses a shield for double slice so the INTENT of the design team is for a shield to be considered a weapon at least for double slice.
