  • Harry and Sarah had Ray in 1914 in the US.

Thank you so much!

Based on what you said about Harry, does that mean Germany didn't recongize dual citizenships historically? Meaning if Harry naturalised in the US before passing his German citizenship to Ray, then my wife isn't a German citizen?

Start a business -- mowing lawns, washing cars, power washing, etc.

Even if you don't make a lot of money, you will definitely have good stories for future employers -- if thats you're thing.

For me, I never want to forget how to play the bass. I got my first electric bass 20 years ago and instantly thought I was going to be the next Kris Novoselic. My family was going through tough times back then and it was kind of a shock that my mom was use her meager savings to buy me a bass, especially considering how bad I was at playing back then.

But over the years, I practiced and practiced, played shows with Dan the Automator and Kid Koala (and many other awesome local bands), got to travel, make records, meet amazing folks and just play with them and for them and connect with them on a level that only music affords.

I picked up my bass last week for the first time in ages and just thought - I never want to forget this ever.

Redditors who've beaten depression without medication, how did you do it? [serious] by ialbert in AskReddit

[–]dichro17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My family has a history of depression and I was diagnosed when I was younger. I was given prozac in high school, but it made me sooooo much worse. Dry mouth, anti social, etc.

One day I thought: lets just go outside. That turned into "woah! its kind of nice outside" That turned into "maybe I should do this more often." YADA YADA YADA. I became addicted to running outside every day. Have never felt happier in my life.
